ARES. II. Characterizing the Hot Jupiters WASP-127 b, WASP-79 b, and WASP-62b with the Hubble Space Telescope
Nour Skaf,Michelle Fabienne Bieger,Billy Edwards,Quentin Changeat,Mario Morvan,Flavien Kiefer,Doriann Blain,Tiziano Zingales,Mathilde Poveda,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Robin Baeyens,Amélie Gressier,Gloria Guilluy,Adam Yassin Jaziri,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Lorenzo V. Mugnai,William Pluriel,Niall Whiteford,Sam Wright,Kai Hou Yip,Benjamin Charnay,Jérémy Leconte,Pierre Drossart,Angelos Tsiaras,Olivia Venot,Ingo Waldmann,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu +27 more
TL;DR: In this article, the atmospheric characterization of three large, gaseous planets: WASP-127 b, WASP79 b, and WASP62 b was performed using spectroscopic data obtained with the G141 grism (1.088 −1.68 μm).
Journal ArticleDOI
ARES II: Characterising the Hot Jupiters WASP-127 b, WASP-79 b and WASP-62 b with HST
Nour Skaf,Michelle Fabienne Bieger,Billy Edwards,Quentin Changeat,Mario Morvan,Flavien Kiefer,Doriann Blain,Tiziano Zingales,Mathilde Poveda,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Robin Baeyens,Amélie Gressier,Gloria Guilluy,Adam Yassin Jaziri,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Lorenzo V. Mugnai,William Pluriel,Niall Whiteford,Sam Wright,Kai Hou Yip,Benjamin Charnay,Jérémy Leconte,Pierre Drossart,Angelos Tsiaras,Olivia Venot,Ingo Waldmann,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu +26 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the atmospheric characterisation of three large, gaseous planets: WASP-127 b, wasP-79 b, and wasP62 b were analyzed using the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) onboard the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) using the Iraclis pipeline and the TauREx3 retrieval code, both of which are publicly available.
Journal ArticleDOI
ARES IV: Probing the atmospheres of the two warm small planets HD 106315 c and HD 3167 c with the HST/WFC3 camera
Gloria Guilluy,Amélie Gressier,Sam Wright,Alexandre Santerne,Adam Yassin Jaziri,Billy Edwards,Quentin Changeat,Darius Modirrousta-Galian,Nour Skaf,Ahmed Al-Refaie,Robin Baeyens,Michelle Fabienne Bieger,Doriann Blain,Flavien Kiefer,Mario Morvan,Lorenzo V. Mugnai,William Pluriel,Mathilde Poveda,Tiziano Tsingales,Niall Whiteford,Kai Hou Yip,Benjamin Charnay,Jérémy Leconte,Pierre Drossart,Alessandro Sozzetti,Emmanuel Marcq,Angelos Tsiaras,Olivia Venot,Ingo Waldmann,Jean-Philippe Beaulieu +29 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present an atmospheric characterization study of two medium sized planets bracketing the radius of Neptune: HD 106315 c (R$\rm{P}}$=4.23 R$\oplus}$) and HD 3167 c(R${P}$=2.17$\sigma$).
Journal ArticleDOI
Indications for very high metallicity and absence of methane for the eccentric exo-Saturn WASP-117b.
L. Carone,Paul Mollière,Yifan Zhou,Jeroen Bouwman,Fei Yan,Robin Baeyens,Daniel Apai,Néstor Espinoza,Benjamin V. Rackham,Andrés Jordán,Daniel Angerhausen,Leen Decin,Monika Lendl,Olivia Venot,Thomas Henning +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a near-infrared transmission spectrum of the exo-Saturn WASP-117b was analyzed with two independent pipelines, and the authors reported the robust detection of a water spectral feature.
