A dwarf satellite galaxy in Sagittarius
TL;DR: The Sagittarius dwarf galaxy as mentioned in this paper is an extended group of comoving stars in the direction of the Galactic Centre, which is interpreted as belonging to a dwarf galaxy that is closer to our own Galaxy than any other yet known.

TL;DR: In this paper, Johnson V and Gunn I photometry for a large number of Local Group galaxies using the Isaac Newton Telescope Wide Field Camera (INT WFC) was obtained for the top few magnitudes of the red giant branch in each system.
