Synthesis, characterization and catalytic evaluation of H3PW12O40 included in acrylic acid/acrylamide polymer for the selective oxidation of sulfides

TL;DR: In this article, a series of hybrid materials (SAPTPA) based on tungstophosphoric acid H 3 PW 12 O 40 (TPA), included in acrylic acid/acrylamide polymer, were synthetized and characterized by FT-IR, XRD, 31 P MAS-NMR, DTA-TGA, and the acidic properties were determined by means of potentiometric titration with n -butylamine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon-supported metal-modified lacunary tungstosilicic polyoxometallates used as catalysts in the selective oxidation of sulfides

TL;DR: In this paper, a procedure for oxidizing sulfides to sulfoxides or sulfones using aqueous hydrogen peroxide and a catalytic amount of lacunary tungstosilicic polyoxometallates supported on carbon at low temperatures (20-50°C).
Journal ArticleDOI

Tungstophosphoric acid immobilized on ammonium Y and ZSM5 zeolites: Synthesis, characterization and catalytic evaluation

TL;DR: In this article, a series of materials based on tungstophosphoric acid (TPA) immobilized on NH4Y and NH4ZSM5 zeolites were prepared by wet impregnation of the zeolite matrix with TPA aqueous solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel catalyst based on mono- and di-vanadium substituted Keggin polyoxometalate incorporated in poly(acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) polymer for the oxidation of sulfides

TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of polyoxotungstovanadate (POTV) and polyacrylic acid-co-acrylamide gel (PAACA) was synthesized and the acid properties were characterized by means of potentiometric titration with n-butylamine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transition metal-modified polyoxometalates supported on carbon as catalyst in 2-(methylthio)-benzothiazole sulfoxidation

TL;DR: In this paper, a polyoxometalates with lacunary Keggin structure modified with transition metal ions [PW11O39M(H2O)]5−, where M = Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+ or Zn2+, were synthesized and supported on activated carbon to obtain the PW11MC catalysts.
