Intraindividual variability in inhibitory function in adults with ADHD - an ex-Gaussian approach

TL;DR: Subjects with aADHD were characterized by increased IIV throughout the entire RT distribution as indicated by the parameters sigma and tau as well as the SD of reaction time, which provides evidence for attentional dysfunction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessing Planning Ability Across the Adult Life Span: Population-Representative and Age-Adjusted Reliability Estimates for the Tower of London (TOL-F).

TL;DR: Results show that planning accuracy on the TOL-F possesses an adequate internal consistency and split-half reliability that are stable across the adult life span while the Tol-F covers a broad range of graded difficulty even in healthy adults, making it suitable for both research and clinical application.
Journal ArticleDOI

On gender differences in mental rotation processing speed

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the dimensionality and the presence of gender differences in mental rotation processing speed in two mental rotation tasks, and they found that mental rotation ability and processing speed can be regarded as unidimensional constructs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Principal Component Analysis of Smoothed Tetrachoric Correlation Matrices as a Measure of Dimensionality

TL;DR: In general, the application of a smoothing algorithm led to an improved performance in the assessment of dimensionality, but minor differences between the three investigated smoothing algorithms were found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Eine Normierungsstudie eines modifizierten Trail Making Tests im deutschsprachigen Raum

TL;DR: The Trail Making Test (TMT) as mentioned in this paper is an international weit verbreitetes Verfahren, das z.r.t. zur Untersuchung von Patienten with erworbenen Hirnschadigungen eingesetzt wird.
