TL;DR: In this paper, a study of air pollution trend analysis in Malaysia from 2010 to 2015 was performed with the objective of determining the API trend in Malaysia, where 19,872 datasets for all Malaysian air quality monitoring stations that had API value greater than 100 and a total of 52,584 datasets for Muar District in Johor were used.
Abstract: Air pollution index (API) is used in Malaysia to determine the level of air quality. API is based on the calculation consist of pollutants PM10, O3, CO2, SO2, and NO2. Unhealthy air quality can harm human health and the environment as well as property. In view of this fact, a study of air pollution trend analysis in Malaysia from 2010 to 2015 was performed with the objective of determining the API trend in Malaysia from 2010 to 2015. A dataset of API value was obtained from the Air Quality Division, Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE). In this study, 19,872 datasets for all Malaysian air quality monitoring stations that had API value greater than 100 and a total of 52,584 datasets for Muar District in Johor were used. XLSTAT add-in 2014 was used to analyze the API hourly reading. Analysis shows that the air monitoring station at Sekolah Menengah Teknik Muar in Johor shows the highest value of API reading with 663 on 23 June 2013 (emergency level), where on that day Malaysia faced its worst air quality due to haze episodes. Other locations also show the worst air quality with API registering at unhealthy, very unhealthy, and hazardous levels.

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship of rainfall distribution and water level on major flood 2014 in Pahang River Basin, Malaysia in helping decision makers to flood management system is discussed about.
Abstract: Climate change gives impact on extreme hydrological events especially in extreme rainfall. This article discusses about the relationship of rainfall distribution and water level on major flood 2014 in Pahang River Basin, Malaysia in helping decision makers to flood management system. Based on DID Malaysia rainfall station, 56 stations have being use as point in this research and it is including Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and Perak. Data set for this study were analysed with GIS analysis using interpolation method to develop Isohyet map and XLstat statistical software for PCA and SPC analyses. The results that were obtained from the Isohyet Map for three months was mid-November, rainfall started to increase about in range of 800mm-1200mm and the intensity keep increased to 2200mm at mid-December 2014. The high rainfall intensity sense at highland that is upstream of Pahang River. The PCA and SPC analysis also indicates the high relationship between rainfall and water level of few places at Pahang River. The Sg. Yap station and Kg. Serambi station obtained the high relationship of rainfall and water level with factor loading value at 0.9330 and 0.9051 for each station. Hydrological pattern and trend are extremely affected by climate such as north east monsoon season that occurred in South China Sea and affected Pahang during November to March. The findings of this study are important to local authorities by providing basic data as guidelines to the integrated river management at Pahang River Basin.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the night sky brightness at the most densely populated urban centers of Nigeria; to estimate and quantify the level of the sky brightness from the sites nearby the cities of the planned research study, which showed three clusters in which class 1 has low pollution; class 2 is moderate while class 3 has high pollution status.
Abstract: High anthropogenic activities are rapidly increasing phenomenon and it is assumed to have global implications. In Nigeria, high anthropogenic activities rapidly increase above the standard of the threshold values especially the lighting sources. This increase due to the vastly growing of industries, residential and commercial uses and other sources such as street lighting in urban and semi-urban areas, which can make the night sky brightness in the area above the threshold set for polluted status. The study measures the night sky brightness at the most densely populated urban centers of Nigeria; to estimate and quantify the level of the night sky brightness from the sites nearby the cities of the planned research study. The research monitored the zenith sky brightness from November 2015 to March 2016 using Sky Quality Meter (SQM). However, typical values ranging from 20.14 to 22.00Mag.sqm /arc sec.2 were measured at different sites of the study area. This data recorded in the field was analyzed using Agglomerative Hierarchical Method via Ward’s Methods to cluster our data according to the pollution status of the areas. Result showed three clusters in which class 1 has low pollution; class 2 is moderate while class 3 has the high pollution status. The sites classified in class 3 are more polluted due to the high use of artificial light. However, geographical information system (GIS) software was employed to confirm the results obtained from environ-metric technique and concluded that this result is confirmed to be the same. Hence, it illustrated that sites in cluster 1 have an excellent dark location that can be used to build optical observatory stations and other astronomical observations due to their dark sky.

TL;DR: This work has successfully identified the species of 25 isolated fungi samples from the polluted areas in Kelantan and Terengganu by using the molecular identification utilizing the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 regions.
Abstract: Fungi are morphologically, ecologically, metabolically and phylogenetically diverse. Fungi play important roles as one of the major decomposer in ecosystems, dominated by Saprophytic fungi. The identification of fungi is important to differentiate each fungi owing to their special ability in our ecosystem. However, the identification of fungi is become very challenging for those untrained mycologists. Essentially, the identification of fungi at the species-level is more problematic. Traditional approaches, based on the morphological or physiological features alone are unreliable because of the limited amount of morphological characters for fungi identification. Thus, a reliable molecular approach is required to identify the fungi at species-level. Here, we have successfully identified the species of 25 isolated fungi samples from the polluted areas in Kelantan and Terengganu by using the molecular identification utilizing the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 regions. Phylogenetics tree was then constructed, using MEGA v7.0 software to illustrate the inter-relationships among the isolates. Among of 25 isolated fungi samples, 23 were identified from Ascomycota division and another two were from the Zygomycota division. From our observation, the most frequent species grew for both polluted areas were from Lasiodiplodia sp.

Abstract: Thank you for downloading using multivariate statistics. As you may know, people have look hundreds times for their favorite novels like this using multivariate statistics, but end up in infectious downloads. Rather than reading a good book with a cup of tea in the afternoon, instead they juggled with some harmful bugs inside their laptop. using multivariate statistics is available in our digital library an online access to it is set as public so you can download it instantly. Our books collection saves in multiple locations, allowing you to get the most less latency time to download any of our books like this one. Merely said, the using multivariate statistics is universally compatible with any devices to read.
