Performance evaluation of short to long term GPS, GLONASS and GPS/GLONASS post-processed PPP

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive statistical assessment of static PPP using GPS-only, GLONASS-only and GPS/GLONASS combined data was performed in a short (hourly to daily) and a long (several weeks) term, spanning observations from eleven IGS stations, revealing insignificant differences in the accuracy and repeatability among the three satellite constellation solutions for long (8 h, 24 h) observation times.
Journal ArticleDOI

Displacement response of a concrete arch dam to seasonal temperature fluctuations and reservoir level rise during the first filling period: evidence from geodetic data

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate the dynamic behaviour of the Ermenek Dam, the second highest dam in Turkey, based on conventional geodetic measurements and Finite Element Model (FEM) analyses during it.
Journal ArticleDOI

Displacement monitoring performance of relative positioning and Precise Point Positioning (PPP) methods using simulation apparatus

TL;DR: Investigation of horizontal and vertical displacement monitoring performance and capability of determining the direction of displacements of both methods using a developed displacement simulator apparatus shows that using 24 h data sets, relative method can determine up to 6.0 mm horizontal displacement and 12.3 km vertical displacement, while PPP method can detect 8.1 mm and 19.2 cm displacements in horizontal and Vertical directions respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparing GLONASS-only with GPS-only and hybrid positioning in various length of baselines

TL;DR: In this article, baselines of two networks have been analyzed in order to assess the usability of GLONASS on global positioning, and the repeatability of results were investigated by using GPS, GLonASS and GPS/GLONASS data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of Displacement Response of the Ermenek Dam Monitored by an Integrated Geodetic and Pendulum System

TL;DR: In this paper, the structural behavior of the Ermenek arch dam, the second highest dam in Turkey, is studied. And the pendulum-derived displacements at four gallery levels, along the vertical cross section of the dam, which exhibit periodicity and linear trend with different slope due to seasonal temperature oscillation and linearly increased reservoir level, respectively.
