A sand wave field in the entrance to Bahia Blanca Estuary, Argentina
TL;DR: In this paper, an average migration rate of 33 m yr−1 was calculated from repeated bathymetric surveys, assuming that sand waves preserve shape and size, the established net sediment flux over the crests is 0.025 cm3 cm−1 s−1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stratigraphy of Holocene sand-shell ridges in the Bahia Blanca Estuary, Argentina
TL;DR: The sand-shell ridges present a parallel bedding with slight inclination toward the sea as mentioned in this paper, and the two ridges studied stand discordantly on clay sandy silt containing laminated and flaser structures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Paleochannels related to late quaternary sea-level changes in Southern Brazil
Journal ArticleDOI
Holocene Paleoinlet of the Bojuru Region, Lagoa dos Patos, Southern Brazil
TL;DR: In this paper, the Holocene environmental evolution of the Bojuru region, Rio Grande do Sul state, southern Brazil, was inferred from seismic, geochronologic, sedimentologic, and paleontologic data.
Journal ArticleDOI
