Blue photoluminescent zinc coordination polymers with supertetranuclear cores

TL;DR: Two photoluminescent two-and three-dimensional coordination polymers consisting of Zn4O and 4,4′-bipyridine as building blocks have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clathration of Two-Dimensional Coordination Polymers: Synthesis and Structures of [M(4,4'-bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2).(2,4'-bpy)(2).H(2)O and [Cu(4,4'-bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4).(4,4'-H(2)Bpy) (M = Cd(II), Zn(II) and bpy = Bipyridine).

TL;DR: The results suggest that the guest 2, 4'-bpy molecules and protonated [4,4'-H(2)bpy](2+) cations present in the reaction systems serve as structure-directing templates in the formation of the crystal structures and exclude self-inclusion of the networks having larger square cavities.
Journal ArticleDOI

A series of Zn-4f heterometallic coordination polymers and a zinc complex containing a flexible mixed donor dicarboxylate ligand.

TL;DR: Informative magnetic susceptibility measurements show that the same carboxylate bridging fashion of the PBDA ligand results in the different magnetic properties occurring within the heterometallic coordination polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

A series of homonuclear lanthanide coordination polymers based on a fluorescent conjugated ligand: syntheses, luminescence and sensor for pollutant chromate anion

TL;DR: A family of six new homo-lanthanide coordination polymers incorporating a conjugated ligand of 2,5-di(2′,4′-dicarboxylpheny)pyridine, namely, {[Ce(μ3−ddpp)]·4H2O}n (1), {[Nd(μ 3 −ddpp]·2H 2O})n (2), {Sm(μ6−dd pp)]·H 2 O )n (3), {Eu(μ 6 −dd pp
