Design and performance analysis of the three-level isolated DC-DC converter with the nanocyrstalline core transformer
TL;DR: In this paper, an isolated three-level DC-DC converter is proposed for high power and high conversion ratio applications such as fuel cells, which consists of a single phase threelevel inverter, a medium frequency transformer and a diode rectifier unit.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design and analysis of a wireless power transfer system with alignment errors for electrical vehicle applications
TL;DR: A 15 kW wireless power transfer system with high frequency and large air gap for electrical vehicle battery charge systems is designed and co-simulations with ANSYS-Maxwell and Simplorer software are performed.
Journal ArticleDOI
A parametric simulation of the wireless power transfer with inductive coupling for electric vehicles, and modelling with artificial bee colony algorithm
TL;DR: The results show that the analyzes of the WPT circuits related to the charging efficiency can be easily calculated with the proposed expression without considering simulation, measurement and sophisticated mathematics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design and analysis of a 35 kVA medium frequency power transformer with the nanocrystalline core material
TL;DR: In this paper, a 35kVA medium frequency transformer with nanocrystalline core material is designed, and a three-dimensional model of the transformer is created with finite element analysis software, and then co-simulations of this electromagnetic transformer model with a power electronics converter circuit are performed for practical operation conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Investigation of Ferrite and Nanocrystalline Core Materials for Medium-Frequency Power Transformers
TL;DR: In this paper, two transformers are designed using the ferrite N87 and the nanocrystalline core materials for the same power level and operating frequency, and the operating frequency is defined as 10 kHz, which is suitable for both materials.
