Probabilistic Boolean networks: a rule-based uncertainty model for gene regulatory networks

TL;DR: Probabilistic Boolean Networks (PBN) are introduced that share the appealing rule-based properties of Boolean networks, but are robust in the face of uncertainty.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comprehensive Pan-Genomic Characterization of Adrenocortical Carcinoma

Siyuan Zheng, +52 more
- 09 May 2016 -
TL;DR: Integrated subtype analysis identified three ACC subtypes with distinct clinical outcome and molecular alterations which could be captured by a 68-CpG probe DNA-methylation signature, proposing a strategy for clinical stratification of patients based on molecular markers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gene Expression Profile in Multiple Sclerosis Patients and Healthy Controls: Identifying Pathways Relevant to Disease

TL;DR: It is shown that gene expression profiling of peripheral blood mononuclear cells by cDNA microarrays can distinguish MS patients from healthy controls and support the concept that the activation of autoreactive T cells is of primary importance for this complex organ-specific disorder.
