Journal ArticleDOI
Exploring the Magnetoelectric Coupling at the Composite Interfaces of FE/FM/FE Heterostructures.
Dhiren K. Pradhan,Dhiren K. Pradhan,Shalini Kumari,Shalini Kumari,Rama K. Vasudevan,Evgheni Strelcov,Venkata Sreenivas Puli,Dillip K. Pradhan,Ashok Kumar,J. Marty Gregg,Aswini K. Pradhan,Sergei V. Kalinin,Ram S. Katiyar +12 more
TL;DR: The ferroelectric, magnetic and ME properties of PFN/NZFO/PFN trilayer nanoscale heterostructure are reported, revealing them as potential candidates for nanoscales multifunctional and spintronics device applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relaxor-ferroelectric superlattices: high energy density capacitors
Nora Ortega,Ashok Kumar,Ashok Kumar,James F. Scott,James F. Scott,Douglas B. Chrisey,M Tomazawa,Shalini Kumari,Danilo G. Barrionuevo Diestra,Ram S. Katiyar +9 more
TL;DR: The superlattices demonstrate an 'in-built' field in as grown samples at low probe frequency, whereas it becomes more symmetric and centered with increase in the probe frequency system (>1 kHz) which rules out the effect of any space charge and interfacial polarization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dielectric anomalies due to grain boundary conduction in chemically substituted BiFeO3
Shalini Kumari,Nora Ortega,Arun Kumar,Shojan P. Pavunny,J. W. Hubbard,Carlos Rinaldi,Gopalan Srinivasan,James F. Scott,Ram S. Katiyar +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe systematic studies on Nd and Mn co-doped BiFeO3, i.e., (Bi0.95Nd0.05)(Fe0.97Mn0.03)O3 polycrystalline electroceramics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation of dielectric, electrical and magnetic properties near the magnetic phase transition temperature of cobalt zinc ferrite
Dhiren K. Pradhan,Shalini Kumari,Venkata Sreenivas Puli,Proloy T. Das,Dillip K. Pradhan,Ashok Kumar,James F. Scott,Ram S. Katiyar +7 more
TL;DR: CZFO exhibits low loss tangent, a high dielectric constant, large magnetization with soft magnetic behavior and magnetodielectric coupling above room temperature, elucidating the possible potential candidates for multiferroic composite structures as well as for multifunctional and spintronics device applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Green synthesis of reduced Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets with enhanced conductivity, oxidation stability, and SERS activity
Tej B. Limbu,Basant Chitara,Jason D. Orlando,Martha Y. Garcia Cervantes,Shalini Kumari,Qi Li,Yongan Tang,Fei Yan +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a facile and environmentally benign synthesis of reduced transition metal carbides (MXenes) via a simple treatment with Lascorbic acid at room temperature was reported.
