Effect of loading history on visco-elastic potato starch gel
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple squeeze flow experiment is performed, where loading is done in two steps with a time lag τ∼ seconds between the steps, and the effect on the strain, of varying τ is reproduced by a three element visco-elastic solid model.
Journal ArticleDOI
On Crack Control Strategy in Near-Field Microwave Drilling of Soda Lime Glass Using Precursors
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Optimum Weight Selection Based LQR Formulation for the Design of Fractional Order PI{\lambda}D{\mu} Controllers to Handle a Class of Fractional Order Systems
TL;DR: The proposed controller design methodology is compared with the existing time domain optimal tuning techniques with respect to change in the trajectory of state variables, tracking performance for change in set-point, magnitude of control signal and also the capability of load disturbance suppression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Unique fractional calculus engineering laboratory for learning and research
TL;DR: This paper describes how the experiments on fractional calculus can be tailored for graduate, undergraduate students’ education and extended for research in this emerging area.
Posted ContentDOI
Solution of System of Linear Fractional Differential Equations with Modified derivative of Jumarie Type
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed analytical method to solve the system of fractional differential equations in terms of Mittag-Leffler function and generalized Sine and Cosine functions, where the fractional derivative operator is of Jumarie type.
