MoO3–x-Based Hybrids with Tunable Localized Surface Plasmon Resonances: Chemical Oxidation Driving Transformation from Ultrathin Nanosheets to Nanotubes
Journal ArticleDOI
Single-walled MoO3 nanotubes.
TL;DR: Uniform MoO3 single-walled nanotubes (SWNTs) have been successfully synthesized for the first time through a simple thiol-assisted hydrothermal method and it is hoped this endeavor could blaze a new path in the field of NT research, especially in the barely explored noncarbon SWNT areas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrathin nanostructures: smaller size with new phenomena
TL;DR: A well-organized review is presented which comments on the most important characteristics of non-carbon ultrathin nanostructures, in an attemp to reveal the underlying relationship between their reactivity, stability and transformation law, and their structures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interface-coupling of CoFe-LDH on MXene as high-performance oxygen evolution catalyst
Chongyan Hao,Chongyan Hao,Yang Wu,Yajing An,Baihua Cui,Jiannan Lin,Xiaoning Li,Dianhui Wang,Minhong Jiang,Zhenxiang Cheng,Shi Hu +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid OER catalyst was prepared by the growth of CoFe-LDH (layered double hydroxide) on the surface of Ti3C2 MXene nanosheets, which exhibits superior OER performance than the state-of-the-art RuO2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrothermal synthesis of hollow silica spheres under acidic conditions.
TL;DR: It is found that stöber silica spheres could be etched in generic acidic media in a well-controlled way under hydrothermal conditions, forming well-defined hollow/rattle-typesilica spheres.
