Journal ArticleDOI

Meta-analysis of QTL associated with Fusarium head blight resistance in wheat.

TL;DR: The objective of this study was to cluster 249 FHB resistance QTL identified in 46 unique lines from 45 studies based on the estimated QTL Cl by meta-analysis, and provide chromosome locations and linked markers for overlapping and unique QTL.
Journal ArticleDOI

QTL associated with Fusarium head blight resistance in the soft red winter wheat Ernie

TL;DR: The results suggest that pyramiding the QTL in Ernie with those from Sumai 3 could result in enhanced levels of FHB resistance in wheat, and this research was conducted to identify QTL associated with type II F HB resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Yield Determination and Water-Use Efficiency of Wheat under Water-Limited Conditions in the U.S. Southern High Plains

TL;DR: The results of this study indicated that stem dry weight at anthesis may be an important trait for high yield in the SHp environment.
Journal ArticleDOI

RhizoVision Crown: An Integrated Hardware and Software Platform for Root Crown Phenotyping.

TL;DR: The integrated RhizoVision Crown platform facilitates high-throughput phenotyping of crop root crowns and sets a standard by which open plant phenotypesing platforms can be benchmarked.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular characterization of field resistance to Fusarium head blight in two US soft red winter wheat cultivars

TL;DR: In the soft red winter wheat regions of the US, Fusarium head blight resistance derived from locally adapted germplasm has been used predominantly and marker-assisted selection might be used to enhance FHB resistance through selection of favorable alleles of significant QTL, taking into account genotypes at Rht-B1b, Rht+1a and Ppd-D1a.
