TL;DR: Different steps for processing different documents using scanning, tagging, and indexing for effective data retrieval with OCR and Indexing techniques are described.
Abstract: Paperless Document Management System is used to eliminate the losses that businesses suffer because of physical paper files and filing systems. This Paper addresses some of the technologies that are helping professionals shift toward a paperless business world. A DMS based on organizing digital documents to search and store documents and to reduce paper. Most of the workplace consists a variety of documents having a mixture of handwritten and printed text. The detection of such documents is a crucial task for OCR developers. This paper describes different steps for processing different documents using scanning, tagging, and indexing for effective data retrieval with OCR and Indexing techniques.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors provide a systematic and comprehensive review of the literature on sustainable campus development activities, including behavioral, learning and educational tools, and physical facilities, in order to identify various dimensions of implementing sustainable campus from various countries.
Abstract: Higher education institutions’ contributions to environmental conservation are manifested in their commitments to develop Sustainable Campuses. Numerous studies have investigated higher education institutions’ efforts to create Sustainable Campuses. Many studies on Sustainable Campuses have been completed partially. The analysis is carried out on the basis of practices at various campuses around the world. However, a thorough analysis of Sustainable Campuses has so far not been carried out. This is evidenced by the lack of publications on journal database portals related to Sustainable Campuses which are carried out in a systematic literature review. To address this gap, this study provides a systematic and comprehensive review of the literature on Sustainable Campuses. The purpose of this article is to identify various dimensions of implementing Sustainable Campuses from various countries. We use the qualitative systematic review method with the meta-aggregation approach in this study. The results of this study indicate that Sustainable Campus development activities are classified into three aspects such as behavioral, learning and educational tools, and physical facilities. Further, each dimension has several strategies and programs and actions performed by global higher education institutions. The results are also expected to be a motivator and reference for campuses to contribute to environmental conservation through Sustainable Campus programs. The various dimensions of a Sustainable Campus that are mapped out in this research can be used as a reference for realizing a Sustainable Campus for every university campus in various countries.

TL;DR: This paper presents a design and evaluation of a new scanned medical document management system that utilizes a database server, instead of a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server used in the existing management system.
Abstract: Some medical documents must be scanned, stored and then retrieved quickly. This paper presents a design and evaluation of a new scanned medical document management system to meet such requirements. The system is a part of a Hospital Information System (HIS) and utilizes a database server, instead of a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server used in the existing management system. Barcodes and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology are also deployed to identify a medical document before being uploaded to the server. The system was evaluated in twofold. Firstly, the message transfer delays to and from the database server were measured. Secondly, the DeLone and McLean model of information systems success was used to construct a questionnaire to validate the system effectiveness. The evaluation results showed that the upload time of the documents to the database server was 1.34 times faster than that to the FTP server. Similarly, the download time of the documents from the database server was 10 times faster than that from the FTP server. The questionnaires also clearly indicated that real users expressed satisfaction with the system. Hence, the proposed system is faster and effective.

TL;DR: The direction and modeling process should consider the user experience through a simplified design approach to RMS (recognize, materialize and scrutinize), which has been designed to help the development of prototype with standards and usability aspects that align with user requirements as an important factor and motivates overall implementation.
Abstract: Conference management system is a concept for handling and managing relevant file in various activities simultaneously before and after the conference. Actually, the preparation activities at the conference are involving the administrative processes recorded. In this case, the direction and modeling process should consider the user experience (UX) through a simplified design approach to RMS (recognize, materialize and scrutinize), which has been designed to help the development of prototype with standards and usability aspects that align with user requirements as an important factor and motivates overall implementation. EzDesk is an application designed to assist users in application registration and verification of conference registration documents. Meanwhile, a digital ecosystem is a group of interconnected IT resources that can function as a single unit. It consists of suppliers, customers, business partners, applications, third-party data service providers and all their technologies, whose interoperability is the key to the success of the ecosystem.

TL;DR: The FieldWork 4 RES system as mentioned in this paper is an application in the final stage of production as part of the Development of an integrated asset management solution and support for investment processes in the design, planning, and implementation of renewable energy construction projects.
Abstract: FieldWork 4 RES is an application in the final stage of production as part of the Development of an integrated asset management solution and support for investment processes in the design, planning, and implementation of renewable energy construction projects. The purpose of the FieldWork 4 RES system is to provide application support for the activities of planning and realization of projects ranging from the construction of infrastructure projects to property maintenance projects. During this process, part of the activity relates to the collection and recording of project documentation, depending on the type of project and legal regulations. This paper deals with the module design for obtaining project documentation. It is based on the communication between FieldWork 4 RES, Camunda, and OfficePoint. The case management model is presented and all its parts are defined.
