TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented imaging data and photometry for the COSMOS survey in 15 photometric bands between 0.3 and 2.4 μm, including data taken on the Subaru 8.3 m telescope, the KPNO and CTIO 4 m telescopes, and the CFHT 3.6 m telescope.

Gas-regulation of galaxies: the evolution of the cosmic sSFR, the metallicity-mass-SFR relation and the stellar content of haloes

TL;DR: In this article, a simple physical model of galaxies, in which the formation of stars is instantaneously regulated by the mass of gas in a reservoir, links together three different aspects of the evolving galaxy population: the cosmic time evolution of the specific star-formation rate sSFR relative to the growth of haloes, the gas-phase metallicities across the galaxy population and over cosmic time, and the ratio of the stellar to dark matter mass of halos.
