Journal ArticleDOI
Exosomal and Non-Exosomal Transport of Extra-Cellular microRNAs in Follicular Fluid: Implications for Bovine Oocyte Developmental Competence.
Md. Mahmodul Hasan Sohel,Michael Hoelker,Sina Seifi Noferesti,Dessie Salilew-Wondim,Ernst Tholen,Christian Looft,Franca Rings,Muhammad Jasim Uddin,Thomas E. Spencer,Karl Schellander,Dawit Tesfaye +10 more
TL;DR: The presence of exosome or non-exosome mediated transfer of miRNA in the bovine follicular fluid, and oocyte growth dependent variation in extra-cellular miRNA signatures in the follicular environment is demonstrated for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation induced changes in the expression of circulatory miRNA in bovine follicular fluid and blood plasma.
Sina Seifi Noferesti,Md. Mahmodul Hasan Sohel,Md. Mahmodul Hasan Sohel,Michael Hoelker,Dessie Salilew-Wondim,Ernst Tholen,Christian Looft,Franca Rings,Christiane Neuhoff,Karl Schellander,Dawit Tesfaye +10 more
TL;DR: The effect of COH on the level of extracellular miRNAs in bovine follicular fluid and blood plasma is investigated to elucidate their mode of circulation and potential molecular mechanisms to be affected in the reproductive tract and provide a potential role in regulating genes associated not only with bovin ovarian function but also involved in altering various physiological in bOVine oocytes, embryos and modulating reproductive tract environment.
