Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of ADI-based SETS on students’ conceptual understanding and scientific argumentation skills learned from different cognitive styles in buffer solution learning. The design used in this study was a quasi-experimental post-test only control group with a non-equivalent design of the factorial version (2 x 2). The subject consists of two classes involving 55 high school students. Concept understanding was measured using 18 items about the selection of multiple (r = 0.818), while the skills of argumentation scientifically was measured with 5 grains problem description (r = 0.807). To test the hypothesis, a two-way ANOVA was used. The results showed that the ADI based SETS model had a positive impact on improving students’ conceptual understanding and argumentation skills. The average experimental class ADI based on SETS was greater than the ADI control class. From a cognitive style perspective, it appears that students with reflective cognitive styles were higher in concept understanding and scientific argument skills than impulsive cognitive styles in all classes.

Abstract: Conventional yogurt production uses mechanical stirring and milk fermentation. Several factors that affect the quality of yogurt include raw materials and fermentation technology. Yogurt is rich in protein and fat, but it has a short shelf life and is easily damaged. For development, we used ultrasonic waves that could form cavitation waves to form microbubbles and homogenized the mixture so that the reaction occurred more quickly. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of ultrasonic waves and preservatives on the level of respondents' preference for the yogurt's physical properties. The starter bacteria and milk were obtained from a milk cooperative shop in Batu Malang. Yogurt quality was analyzed from the questionnaire concerning the respondent's level of preference which included texture, thickness, aroma, color, and taste. The results show that the presence of ultrasonic waves in the mixing process has an effect on the quality of yogurt. Respondents prefer the physical properties of yogurt, aspect of color, shape, smell, and homogeneity, made with the help of ultrasonic waves. Preservatives (potassium sorbate) can extend the shelf life but carries a minimum influence on the physical properties of yogurt. The yogurt processing with optimum results involves no addition of preservatives but using ultrasonic waves.

Abstract: The significant problem in the Kertaraharja region is the lack of educational systems, one of which is the lack of interest in reading or literacy among school-aged children, as well as a lack of understanding. Reading has a significant impact on an individual's knowledge and perspective. The purpose of this research is to increase children's interest in reading and build motivation and willingness by adding library collections. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was used for this study. The results of this research indicate that encouragement, motivation, library collection enrichment, as well as initiation and development of children's intuition, can significantly increase children's interest in reading and learning. Permasalahan yang ada di daerah kertaraharja yang lebih signifikan yaitu kurangnya sistem pendidikannya, salah satunya yaitu kurang minat membaca atau literasi di kalangan anak-anak yang masih menjenjang pendidikan sekolah, dan juga kurangnya pemahaman. Karena membaca akan mempengaruhi pengetahuan dan wawasan terhadap seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini Upaya meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak dan membangun motivasi serta kemauan dengan mengadakannya penmbahan koleksi pustaka. Dengan menggunakan Metode (Kualitatif) khususnya menggunakan metode participatory action research (PAR). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dorongan, motivasi, pengayaan koleksi pustaka, serta inisiasi dan pengembangan intuisi anak, dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan minat membaca dan minat belajar pada anak.

Abstract: The 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxantene has many derivates. One of those is 9-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3,4,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-xanthene-1,8(5H,9H)-dione. This compound has been successfully synthesized from 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and 1,3-cyclohexanedione. This reaction has been catalyzed by lime and lemon juice under the free solvent condition. It is assumed that citric acid in both materials has a role in catalyzing this reaction. The advantages of using them as catalysts are biodegradable, environmentally safe, and cheap. Besides that, the synthesis of this compound only required one reaction stage, and the product was easily purified. The structure of the pure product was determined by FT-IR, H-NMR, and GC-MS. The antioxidant activity of this compound was investigated by the DPPH method. This compound had an antioxidant activity with inhibition percentage over 53.42%.

Abstract: Preeklamsia masih cukup tinggi sebagai salah satu penyebab kematian ibu, dimana preeklmasia ini merupakan salah satu komplikasi yang mungkin muncul selama masa kehamilan yang biasanya ditandai dengan adanya peningkatan tekanan darah, munculnya protein urin dan odem. Odem kaki yang terjadi pada ibu hamil timbul akibat adanya salah satu gangguan pada sirkulasi vena dan adanya peningkatan tekanan vena pada daerah ekstermitas bagian bawah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain pre-eksperiment one group pre-test-posttest dimana dalam penelitian ini hanya melibatkan satu kelompok ibu hamil pre eklamsi trimester III. Tujuan pemberian terapi senam yophytta dan terapi musik klasik mozart adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kejadian odem pada ibu hamil pre eklamsi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi senam yophytta dan terapi musik klasik mozart pada ibu hamil TM III. Hasil penelitian Ada pengaruh positif intervensi senam yophyta dan music mozard terhadap derajat odem pada ibu hamil preeklamsia dengan nilai p value 0.0001 dimana derajat odem setelah dilakukan intervensi berkurang dengan nilai maksimum derajat odem selem intervensi maksimal derajat 3 dan setelah intervensi derajat maksimal odem menjadi maksimal 2. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan mampu untuk mengelola kejadian odem pada ibu hamil preeklmasia dengan pendekatan non farkamologis salah satunya dengan senam yophitta yang dikombinasikan dengan music mozzard

Abstract: Solvothermal reactions of Ca(NO3)2 or Ba(NO3)2 with aromatic carboxylate ligands afforded four new inorganic–organic hybrid frameworks, [Ca(PBDC)(H2O)3]n (1), [Ca(OBDC)(H2O)]n (2), [Ba5(OBDC)4(H2O)2(NO3)2]n (3), and [Ba3(BTC)2(H2O)4]n (4) (H2PBDC = terephthalic acid, H2OBDC = phthalic acid, H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid). These compounds have been fully characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction, satisfactory elemental analysis, IR spectra, and TG analysis. X-ray analysis shows that compound 1 features a one-dimensional chain (1D) structure with the I1O0 connectivity, both compound 2 and compound 3 feature a two-dimensional (2D) layer structure with the I1O1 connectivity, I2O0 connectivity, respectively, compound 4 features a three-dimensional (3D) framework with a rare I3O0 connectivity. Thermal stabilities and luminescent properties of compounds 1–4 and NLO property of compound 4 have also been investigated.

Abstract: Five new silver(I) complexes of formulas [Ag(Tpms)] (1), [Ag(Tpms)(PPh3)] (2), [Ag(Tpms)(PCy3)] (3), [Ag(PTA)][BF4] (4), and [Ag(Tpms)(PTA)] (5) {Tpms = tris(pyrazol-1-yl)methanesulfonate, PPh3 = triphenylphosphane, PCy3 = tricyclohexylphosphane, PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane} have been synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analyses, 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), and IR spectroscopic techniques. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of 3 shows the Tpms ligand acting in the N3-facially coordinating mode, while in 2 and 5 a N2O-coordination is found, with the SO3 group bonded to silver and a pendant free pyrazolyl ring. Features of the tilting in the coordinated pyrazolyl rings in these cases suggest that this inequivalence is related with the cone angles of the phosphanes. Abstract: New coordination polymers have been obtained by the self-assembly of silver salts AgX (X = BF4, PF6, CF3SO3) and 2,4-diamino-6-R-1,3,5-triazines L (R = phenyl and p-tolyl) of formulas AgLX (1−6). A complex of different stoichiometry, [Ag3L2(H2O)(acetone)2](BF4)3, 7 (R = phenyl), has also been synthesized. The three-dimensional structures of five compounds have been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. For the AgLX complexes, when X = BF4 and R = phenyl or p-tolyl, chiral chains with alternating Ag and L are formed. The chains are cross-linked by the counteranions in a three-dimensional fashion through hydrogen bonds and weak Ag···F interactions giving rise to a structure with solvent-filled channels. Different and more compact structures have been found when the counteranion is CF3SO3 (OTf). When R = phenyl, sheets are formed which consist of [Ag2(OTf)2L2] units with double triflate bridges and which contain columns of π−π stacked arenes. Hydrogen bonds connect the sheets.
