Journal ArticleDOI

K-shell photodetachment of Li(-): experiment and theory.

TL;DR: The experiment reveals dramatic structure, differing substantially both qualitatively and quantitatively from the corresponding processes above the 1s ionization threshold in Li and Li(+), as predicted by the enhanced R-matrix calculation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Jellium model potentials for the C 60 molecule and the photoionization of endohedral atoms, A@C 60

TL;DR: In this paper, the potential of the C60 shell of a C60 atom has been calculated in the framework of the self-consistent spherical jellium model, where the parameters of the model Lorentz-bubble potential (depth and thickness) have been selected so that in the potential well there would be an electronic level corresponding to the experimental electron affinity of the c60 molecule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Absolute cross sections for the photoionization of the 6s6p 1P excited state of barium.

TL;DR: Absolute photoionization cross sections for the 6s6p 1 P excited state of Ba have been measured in the threshold region and found to agree substantially with theory, thus resolving previous discrepancies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dramatic nondipole effects in low-energy photoionization: experimental and theoretical study of Xe 5s.

TL;DR: The Xe 5s nondipole photoelectron parameter gamma is obtained experimentally and theoretically from threshold to approximately 200 eV photon energy and clear evidence of interchannel coupling among quadrupole photoionization channels is found.
