TL;DR: In this article, the role of risk management committee in managing the supply chain risk and enhancing the overall supply chain performance is examined, where three risk measures namely supply chain technology risk, supply chain integration risk, and supply chain integrated risk are used to conceptualize the firm supply chain risks.
Abstract: The prime objective of the currents study is to examine the role of the risk management committee in managing the supply chain risk and enhancing the supply chain performance. The three risk measures namely supply chain technology risk, supply chain integration risk and supply chain integration risk are used to conceptualize the firm supply chain risk. The risk management committee is one of a feature of the code of corporate governance which during the last couple of years have widely discussed in the literature in the reference of financial risk management. However, little or no attention has been given to explore the issue with the reference of operational risk management, especially in supply chain risk management. This is among the few pioneering studies being carried out to explore the direct role of risk management committee on firm supply performance and its moderating role on firm supply chain risk and firm supply performance. The SEM-PLS is used to achieve the research objectives. The data is collected from the operation managers of Indonesian based production firms operating in Indonesia. The results of the study have shown a great deal of agreement with our proposed hypothesis. Except the supply chain integration risk, all other measures of risk are in a significant positive relation with firm supply performance whereas the supply chain integration risk appears in negative and significant relation with the firm supply chain performance. The current study will be helpful for PR actioners, researchers and policy makers in understanding the link between operational management and corporate governance.

The data is collected through questionnaires spread to Islamic banks’ customers in seven cities and district in South Sumatera. The total questionnaires that can be used in the analysis is 509 questionnaires. The data is then analysed using mean ranking to see the factors that prioritized by the customers. The finding shows that staff friendliness, shariah compliance and fast and efficient banking service are found to be the factors that considered important by the customers. The customers also show a little concern on interest loan and saving offered by Islamic banks as they rank very low in the mean score ranking. TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effects of planning flexibility and entrepreneurship moderated by the business environment on sustainable competitive advantage in manufacturing firms and found that planning flexibility does not affect sustainable competitive advantages.
Abstract: This study aims to investigate the effects of planning flexibility and entrepreneurship moderated by the business environment on sustainable competitive advantage in manufacturing firms. Data were collected through questionnaires spread through manufacturing firms in South Sumatera, Indonesia and the Central Bureau of Statistics. A total of 308 responses were analyzed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach using the statistical package AMOS 22.0. The results evidence that, before moderated by business environment, planning flexibility does not affect sustainable competitive advantage, whereas entrepreneurship affects sustainable competitive advantage. After moderated by the business environment, both planning flexibility and entrepreneurship affect sustainable competitive advantage.

TL;DR: In this paper, research has been carried out on the manufacturing sub-sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange with pooling data for 2014-2018 and 342 samples and the results showed that sales growth, debt to equity ratio, and changes in equity had a positive effect on asset accumulation, while saving behavior as measured by marginal propensity to save had no effect on the asset accumulation.
Abstract: Behavior of asset accumulation or wealth accumulation becomes an important issue to study because it has the potential for aggregate and global financial imbalances. Economic theory explains that the accumulation of assets as a function to improve welfare in the context of business processes, has implications for the welfare of stakeholders, if the process of asset accumulation occurs due to sales growth, saving and investment, all three will not interact. To discuss this matter, research has been carried out on the manufacturing sub-sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange with pooling data for 2014-2018 and 342 samples. The results showed that sales growth, debt to equity ratio, and changes in equity had a positive effect on asset accumulation, while saving behavior as measured by marginal propensity to save had no effect on asset accumulation, and interestingly, asset turnover had a negative effect on asset accumulation as an indication that investment growth is not matched by an increase in income, meaning that the level of asset productivity is relatively low. This finding implies that asset growth does not make it more productive in generating sales growth, meaning that the accumulation of assets occurs due to an external funding mechanism and an increase in equity compared to a mechanism of growth, saving and investment.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed the potential and preferences of the community towards Islamic banking in terms of a demographic perspective consisting of four factors, namely age, income, education, and occupation.
Abstract: Islamic Banking is an increasingly important part of the Indonesian economy and finance. The competition between conventional and Islamic banks and customer demographic factors affect the performance of Islamic Banking. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential and preferences of the community towards Islamic banking in terms of a demographic perspective consisting of four factors, namely age, income, education, and occupation. The potential and preferences of the community are proxied by the ownership of Islamic banking accounts. The study uses a sample of 620 questionnaires. The methodological approach is binary logistics regression or multinomial logistic linear regression using IBM SPSS statistics 25 software. The dependent variable (Y) is the probability of people who have an account in Islamic banking as a proxy to measure the potential and preference of Islamic banking. The independent variable (X) is several factors that affect account ownership in Islamic Banking like age, education, occupation, and income. The paper’s findings show that respondents in the segment aged less than 40 years old, in middle education, and working as entrepreneurs have a lower and significant probability of having an account in Islamic banking than respondents aged more than 40 years old, highly educated, and working in the company. There is no significant difference in the probability of account ownership in Islamic banking.

TL;DR: In this article, the role of supply chain leadership, supply chain fellowship and shared common values on the supply chain activities of the Islamic banks in Indonesia has been examined, and the results indicated that supply chain leader dependency positively moderated among the links of the fellowship and supply chain activity.
Abstract: The prime objective of the present study is to examine the role of supply chain leadership, supply chain fellowship and shared common values on the supply chain activities of the Islamic banks in Indonesia. The secondary objective of the ongoing study is also the examination of moderating role of supply chain leadership dependency among the links of supply chain leadership, supply chain fellowship, shared common values and supply chain activities of the Islamic banks in Indonesia. The questionnaire method has been adopted by the study to collect the data while smart-PLS has been executed for the analysis. The results indicated that supply chain leadership, supply chain fellowship and shared common values have a positive impact on the supply chain activities of the Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results also exposed that supply chain leadership dependency positively moderated among the links of supply chain fellowship and supply chain activities. These findings are suitable for the regulators along with further studies in terms of investigating, formulating strategies and policies on the supply chain activities of the banks.
