Abstract: Objective To study the clinical feature of teratoma in adrenal gland Methods One case of adrenal teratoma treated in our institution were reported,and the clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment were analyzed retrospectively under review of literature Results A 45-year-old woman with a 3-days history of the right waist and back pain received ultrasound and computed tomographic scan of the abdomenThe examination of Ultrasound revealed adrenal malignant tumor;and CT scans indicated teratoma or hamartomaThe tumor was resected by surgery,and the case was proved to be mature adrenal teratoma by pathologyWithin one year follow-up,no tumor recur or metastasis was observed Conclusions The adrenal teratoma is a rare germ cell tumorClinical symptoms and signs are not typicalImaging examination is important for diagnosisThe teratoma could be diagnosed by imaging examinationPathological examination is the fundamental basis for the diagnosis of adrenal teratomaEarly diagnosis and surgical treatment is recommendedThe prognosis of the mature teratoma is good after the operationThe relapse of immature teratoma is commonChemotherapy and lifelong follow-up is recommended
