Potential of Nanorefrigerant and Nanolubricant on Energy Saving in Refrigeration System – A Review

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive review is carried out to investigate the impact of nanorefrigerant and nanolubricant on energy saving in the refrigeration system, and the results showed that the best energy saving with 21% less energy used was with the use of 0.5% volume ZnO-R152a refrigerant nanol lubricant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance analysis of SiO2/PAG nanolubricant in automotive air conditioning system

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of an automotive air conditioning system (AAC) was evaluated by determining the heat absorb, compressor work and coefficient of performance (COP), and the results found that the maximum increase and the average COP enhancement for SiO2/PAG nanolubricants are 24% and 10.5%, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal analysis of earth-to-air heat exchanger using laboratory simulator

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of EAHE based on experimental studies using a laboratory simulator was evaluated and the results showed that the flow rate of 0.03-0.07 kg/s and Tg of 23°C gave the highest temperature reduction with 9.62°C or 27.5% relative to the inlet temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

The thermal characteristics and performance of a ground heat exchanger for tropical climates

TL;DR: In this article, the thermal characteristics and performance of ground heat exchanger (GHE) based on the mathematical model for tropical climate conditions is presented. And the effectiveness of the GHE is analyzed at 0.8, 0.9 and 0.99.
Journal ArticleDOI

The stability of TiO2/POE nanolubricant for automotive air-conditioning system of hybrid electric vehicles

TL;DR: In this paper, the stability of polyol-Ester (POE) nanolubricant was investigated in automotive air-conditioning (AAC) system of hybrid electric vehicles (HEV).
