This paper presents an optimized watermarking scheme based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD). The singular values of a binary watermark are embedded in singular values of the LL3 sub-band coefficients of the host image by making use of multiple scaling factors (MSFs). The MSFs are optimized using a newly proposed Firefly Algorithm having an objective function which is a linear combination of imperceptibility and robustness. The PSNR values indicate that the visual quality of the signed and attacked images is good. The embedding algorithm is robust against common image processing operations. It is concluded that the embedding and extraction of the proposed algorithm is well optimized, robust and show an improvement over other similar reported methods.

Optimized gray-scale image watermarking using DWT-SVD and Firefly Algorithm

In this paper, a new optimal watermarking scheme based on lifting wavelet transform (LWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) using multi-objective ant colony optimization (MOACO) is presented. The singular values of the binary water- mark are embedded in a detail subband of host image. To achieve the highest possible robustness without losing watermark transparency, multiple scaling factors (MSF) are used instead of a single scaling factor (SSF). Determining the optimal values of the mul- tiple scaling factors (MSF) is a dicult problem. However, to determine these values, a multi-objective ant colony-based optimization method is used. Experimental results show much improved performances in terms of transparency and robustness for the proposed method compared to other watermarking schemes. Furthermore, the proposed scheme does not suer from the problem of high probability of false positive detections of the watermarks.

Optimal Image Watermarking Algorithm Based on LWT-SVD via Multi-objective Ant Colony Optimization

In this paper, a novel video inter-frame forgery detection scheme based on optical flow consistency is proposed. It is based on the finding that inter-frame forgery will disturb the optical flow consistency. This paper noticed the subtle difference between frame insertion and deletion, and proposed different detection schemes for them. A window based rough detection method and binary searching scheme are proposed to detect frame insertion forgery. Frame-to-frame optical flows and double adaptive thresholds are applied to detect frame deletion forgery. This paper not only detects video forgery, but also identifies the forgery model. Experiments show that our scheme achieves a good performance in identifying frame insertion and deletion model.

A novel video inter-frame forgery model detection scheme based on optical flow consistency

Due to the advancement in Computer technology and readily available tools, it is very easy for the unknown users to produce illegal copies of multimedia data which are floating across the Internet. In order to protect those multimedia data on the Internet many techniques are available including various encryption techniques, steganography techniques, watermarking techniques and information hiding techniques. Digital watermarking is a technique in which a piece of digital information is embedded into an image and extracted later for ownership verification. Secret digital data can be embedded either in spatial domain or in frequency domain of the cover data. In this paper, a new singular value decomposition (SVD) and discrete wavelet transformation (DWT) based technique is proposed for hiding watermark in full frequency band of color images (DSFW). The quality of the watermarked image and extracted watermark is measured using peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and normalized correlation (NC) respectively. It is observed that the quality of the watermarked image is maintained with the value of 36dB. Robustness of proposed algorithm is tested for various attacks including salt and pepper noise and Gaussian noise, cropping and JPEG compression.

This paper proposes a binary image digital watermarking scheme based on the combination of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and vector transform (VT). Experimental results show that this scheme keeps the image quality rather good and has better robustness to common signal processing operations such as adding noise, filtering and JPEG lossy compression.

A digital watermarking scheme based on DWT and vector transform

Digital watermarking is deemed as a novel technique for copyright of digital products and has aroused extensive interest in recent years. Based on the properties of the Hadamard transform and the singular value decomposition (SVD), this paper proposes a novel watermarking algorithm, the experimental results showing that the watermarking algorithm has good transparency and robustness, especially against the geometrical operations and JPEG lossy compression.

A watermarking algorithm based on the SVD and Hadamard transform

This paper expounds the principle of BP neural network with applications to image compression and the neural network models. Then an image compressing algorithm based on improved BP network is developed. The blocks of original image are classified into three classes: background blocks, object blocks and edge blocks, considering the features of intensity change and visual discrimination. The BP algorithm is also improved for a better convergence effect and the simulation results indicate that the compression rate and the quality of reconstructed image is effectively improved.

An Image Compressing Algorithm Based on Classified Blocks with BP Neural Networks

The paper presents a scheme for the color video integrity authentication based on fragile watermarking. The RGB color mode is transformed to YST color mode which useing for embedding watermarking into original video. Firstly, the T-component is selected to make DCT by 4×4 blocks. After that, according to the relationship of the quantilzed DCTcoefficients of the frames, the authentication code is created, as watermarking is embeded into the image by modifying the last non-zero DCT coefficient. The video anthentication is carried out without refering to the original video, blind detection can be achieved. The simulation results show that the scheme could keep video's quality and also can detect the tamper and attack on original video.

Integrity authentication scheme of color video based on the fragile watermarking

This paper propose an audio digital watermarking algorithm based on the wavelet transform (WT) and the complex cepstrum transform (CCT). The algorithm realized to embed a binary image watermark into the audio signal and improved the imperceptibility of watermarks. Experimental results show that this algorithm has a better robustness against common signal processing such as noise, filtering, resampling and lossy compression.
