Journal ArticleDOI
A new ratiometric fluorescent probe for rapid, sensitive and selective detection of endogenous hydrogen sulfide in mitochondria.
TL;DR: A new ratiometric fluorescent probe composed of a coumarin-merocyanine dyad based on the FRET mechanism showed clear dual-emission signal changes in blue and red spectral windows upon addition of H2S in a dose dependent manner under a single wavelength excitation.
Journal ArticleDOI
A ratiometric lysosomal pH probe based on the naphthalimide–rhodamine system
TL;DR: A novel ratiometric pH probe RNL based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) was well developed and has been successfully applied in HeLa cells, and the results demonstrated that it could be used to detect lysosomal pH changes.
Journal ArticleDOI
An effective colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescent probe for bisulfite in aqueous solution
Xi Dai,Tao Zhang,Zhi-Fang Du,Xiang-Jian Cao,Ming-Yu Chen,Sheng-Wen Hu,Miao Junying,Bao-Xiang Zhao +7 more
TL;DR: The BICO probe contains coumarin and benzimidazole moieties and can detect HSO3(-) based on the Michael addition reaction with a limit of detection 5.3 × 10(-8) M in phosphate-buffered saline solution, which demonstrates its excellent value in practical application.
Journal ArticleDOI
A ratiometric lysosomal pH probe based on the coumarin–rhodamine FRET system
TL;DR: The results indicated that the probe could selectively stain lysosomes with low cytotoxicity and excellent photostability and could act as a practical tool for the detection of pH in weakly acidic conditions and provide essential information in medicinal analysis and real biological systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
A ratiometric fluorescent probe for cysteine and its application in living cells
TL;DR: A ratiometric fluorescent probe DPCA based on coumarin and pyrazoline was designed and synthesized for sensing cysteine (Cys) in physiological pH as mentioned in this paper.
