Journal ArticleDOI

The Palladium-Hydrogen System

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the properties of the palladium-hydrogen system is presented, focusing on the differences between the three isotopes in the Pd-D system, the deuterium system, and the tritium system.
Journal ArticleDOI

The volume increase of fcc metals and alloys due to interstitial hydrogen over a wide range of hydrogen contents

TL;DR: In this article, the interstitial hydrogen contents and their associated volume increments have been determined for a variety of fcc metals and alloys using high pressure techniques, where hydrogen contents approaching n = 1, where n = H-to-metal (atomic ratio), have been obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hysteresis in metal hydrides

TL;DR: In this article, a detailed model for hysteresis is presented for metal hydride systems based on the requirement for dislocation production during both the formation and decomposition of hydrides.
