Journal ArticleDOI

Potential Natural Fiber Polymeric Nanobiocomposites: A Review.

TL;DR: Nanobiocomposites are exhibiting a higher market volume with the expansion of new technology and green approaches for utilizing biofibers, and manufacturing methods are discussed in the context of potential application in this review.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling the shear rate and pressure drop in a hydrodynamic cavitation reactor with experimental validation based on KI decomposition studies

TL;DR: It was observed that area of the high shear zone at the indentation leading edge shrinks with an increase in the rotational speed of the rotor, although the magnitude of the shear rate increases linearly, which results into less cavitational activity compared to that observed around 2200-2500RPM.
Journal ArticleDOI

A state-of-the-art review on coir fiber-reinforced biocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, a review of coir fiber and associated composites along with their feasible fabrication methods and surface treatments in terms of their morphological, thermal, mechanical, and physical properties is presented.
Patent

Apparatus for the production of building units from afterhardening materials

TL;DR: In this article, an afterhardening mixture containing cement and/or lime as binding material is continuously fed and pressed by stamping into a die with CO 2 gas at a pressure higher than atmospheric being passed through the raw mixture in the die space.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermo-mechanical properties of pretreated coir fiber and fibrous chips reinforced multilayered composites

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) on treated coir fiber and fibrous chips reinforced tri-layered biocomposites was investigated.
