Recommended Methods to Study Resistive Switching Devices

TL;DR: This manuscript describes the most recommendable methodologies for the fabrication, characterization, and simulation of RS devices, as well as the proper methods to display the data obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Making Good Use of Food Wastes: Green Synthesis of Highly Stabilized Silver Nanoparticles from Grape Seed Extract and Their Antimicrobial Activity

TL;DR: Using this kind of extract as reducing reagent and stabilizing reagent, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) with high stability were biosynthesized within 10 min this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ageing mechanisms of highly active and stable nickel-coated silicon photoanodes for water splitting

TL;DR: In this paper, the ageing mechanisms of silicon photoanodes coated with nickel films of different thicknesses were investigated under the light-driven oxygen evolution reaction, OER, and the results showed that the n-Si photo-anodes with 2 nm-thick, 5 nmthick and 10 nm-tick nickel layers showed lifetimes of ∼18 h, ∼150 h and >260 h, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

CuO-Functionalized Silicon Photoanodes for Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting Devices

TL;DR: The development of a CuO/Silicon based photoanode, which shows an onset potential for the water oxidation of 0.53 V vs SCE at pH 9, and an overpotential of 75 mV, and high stability above 10 h is reported, which is an attractive solution to functionalize unstable materials for solar energy conversion.
