Review of mid-infrared plasmonic materials

TL;DR: In this paper, a wide range of available plasmonic and phononic materials for mid-IR wavelengths, looking in particular at transition metal nitrides, transparent conducting oxides, silicides, doped semiconductors, and even newer plasmmonic materials such as graphene, are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Substrate-Independent Broad-Band Immersion Microlens Arrays with a High Coupling Efficiency for Infrared Focal Plane Arrays

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented an all-in-one solution for producing solid immersion microlens arrays compatible with various IR focal plane arrays regardless of their substrate material, which is used in CMOS image sensors but has not been industrially adopted for IR FPAs due to signi fi cant di ffi culties in integration with compound semiconductors.
