Correlation for dynamic contact angle

TL;DR: In this paper, a correlation is suggested for available experimental measurements of the advancing dynamic contact angle measured through the liquid phase during the displacement of a liquid-gas interface through a glass capillary tube.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear interfacial stress-deformation behavior measured with several interfacial viscometers

TL;DR: In this paper, rotational interfacial viscometers are used to measure nonlinear interfacial stress-deformation behavior using rotational interfaces between air and aqueous solution of 0.1 wt% dodecyl sodium sulfate.
Journal ArticleDOI

The local volume-averaged equations of motion for a suspension of non-neutrally buoyant spheres

TL;DR: In this article, the local volume averages of the equations of motion as well as the appropriate boundary conditions are developed for a flowing suspension of non-neutrally buoyant, uniform spheres in an incompressible Newtonian fluid under conditions such that inertial effects can be neglected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flows of neutrally buoyant suspensions in several viscometers

TL;DR: In this paper, the theory developed by Jiang et al. (1987) for a flowing suspension of neutrally buoyant spheres in an incompressible Newtonian fluid is further tested for a limiting case of the Couette viscometer.
