Journal ArticleDOI
Heterogeneous activation of peroxymonosulfate using ordered mesoporous Co3O4 for the degradation of chloramphenicol at neutral pH
TL;DR: In this article, ordered mesoporous Co3O4 was fabricated using nanocasting route with SBA-15 or KIT-6 as the hard template and innovatively studied as the potential alternative to conventional Co 3O4 nanoparticles for peroxymonosulfate activation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Degradation of atenolol by UV/peroxymonosulfate: kinetics, effect of operational parameters and mechanism.
TL;DR: The results showed that there was a linear positive correlation between the degradation rate of ATL and specific dose of PMS (1-16M PMS/M ATL), suggesting HCO3(-) was a weak inhibitor.
Journal ArticleDOI
A bifunctional MoS2-based solar evaporator for both efficient water evaporation and clean freshwater collection
TL;DR: In this article, a MoS2-based solar evaporator was designed for both efficient solar water evaporation and clean freshwater collection based on the new process, which was composed of a top layer of MoS 2 nanoflowers for high solar absorption and organic contaminant removal, a thermal barrier layer of expandable polyethylene (EPE) foam for floatation and excellent heat insulation, and a seawater pumping channel of air-laid paper (ALP) for fast water delivery to the top layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crowdsourcing Methods for Data Collection in Geophysics : State of the Art, Issues, and Future Directions
Feifei Zheng,Ruoling Tao,Holger R. Maier,Holger R. Maier,Holger R. Maier,Linda See,Dragan Savic,Tuqiao Zhang,Qiuwen Chen,Thaine H. Assumpção,Pan Yang,Pan Yang,Bardia Heidari,Jörg Rieckermann,Barbara S. Minsker,Weiwei Bi,Ximing Cai,Dimitri Solomatine,Ioana Popescu +18 more
TL;DR: A review of the state of the art in this field can be found in this article, where the authors present a framework for categorizing the methods used in the seven domains of geophysics considered in this review.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetically recyclable self-assembled thin films for highly efficient water evaporation by interfacial solar heating
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used hydrophobic magnetic microspheres to self-assemble into a thin film under simulated solar light irradiation and float on the surface of water.
