Results of G004, a phase IIb study in recurrent glioblastoma patients with the TGF-b2 targeted compound AP 12009
Ulrich Bogdahn,V. E. Oliushine,V. E. Parfenov,M. Kunst,Ashok Kumar Mahapatra,K. V. R. Sastry,K. N. Venkataramana,P. Jachimczak,Peter Hau,K. H. Schlingensiepen +9 more
TL;DR: Responses in patients treated with AP 12009 in both AA and GBM patients are long lasting with a good quality of life, and Phase III clinical trials in AA and TGF-β2 inhibition patients are currently in preparation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brain perfusion imaging of a craniopharyngioma by transcranial duplex sonography.
TL;DR: A new ultrasound software tool to assess pathological perfusion in a brain tumor patient using tissue harmonic imaging and a perfluoropropane‐based UCA was tested, demonstrating a pathologic perfusion pattern described by abnormal perfused areas in the tumor region.
Patent
Antisense-oligonucleotides for transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β)
Georg-Ferdinand Schlingensiepen,Wolfgang Brysch,Karl-Hermann Schlingensiepen,Reimar Schlingensiepen,Ulrich Bogdahn +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, Antisense-oligonucleotides or effective derivatives thereof hybridizing with an area of a gene coding for transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) comprising the following nucleic acid sequences identified in the sequence listing under SEQ ID NO. 57 to 136 each of the nucleic acids having a DNA- or RNA-type structure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Titelbildbeitrag – Das retrobulbäre "Spot Sign" – orbitale Sonografie zur Ausschlussdiagnostik der Arteriitis temporalis bei plötzlicher Erblindung
Journal ArticleDOI
Validation Study: Response-Predictive Gene Expression Profiling of Glioma Progenitor Cells In Vitro.
Sylvia Moeckel,Arabel Vollmann-Zwerenz,Martin Proescholdt,Alexander Brawanski,Markus J. Riemenschneider,Ulrich Bogdahn,Anja-Katrin Bosserhoff,Rainer Spang,Peter Hau +8 more
TL;DR: The gene signature published from a construction set of 18 glioma progenitor cells enhanced for brain tumor initiating cells exhibited good prediction accuracy in cross validation but was not able to validate the signature in an independent validation data set.
