Abstract: In everyday life, million liters of water are getting wasted by overflowing and also heavy usage. To reduce this ,we have to implement some overflow control techniques to minimize the heavy wastage of water. For this purpose, we propose the Smart water level management system. This system uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect the water level and it is based on the sound made from flow of water it calculates the level of water in percentage and returns the value to the LCD display. It will calculate the level of water up to 100% by the intervals of 10%. After each interval it reaches the value is displayed on the LCD screen. This system is connected with relay switch which will automatically turn OFF and ON based on level of water. When the water level reaches 0% it will automatically turned ON and if it reaches 100% it will automatically turned OFF. We can also control the system online using a WiFi module which connects the system with web application we created. By also using PH sensor we can check the purity of the water. The result of this will be displayed on our web application.

A Personal Virtual Assistant allows a user to simply ask questions in the same manner that they would address a human, and are even capable of doing some basic tasks like opening apps, reading out news, taking notes etc., with just a voice command. Personal Assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri works by Speech Recognition (Speech-to-text) and Text-to-Speech.

Abstract: This paper explores direct phone-to-phone communication between the driver’s phone & the owner’s phone to support mobile sensing applications. Direct communication between driver’s phone & owner’s phone is an important in improving data collection efficiency and sharing participatory sensing information in an inexpensive manner. We design a practical and optimized communication mechanism for direct phone-tophone data transfer to the driver’s phone that strategically enables phone-to-phone communication. This paper makes use of the DTMF technology available on mobile phones to control the vehicle activities. We employ various sensors in the vehicle which sends us the information about the vehicle activities. In case of occurrence of any abnormalities in the functioning of vehicle, the sensors immediately detect these abnormalities & a message is sent to the vehicle owner. By the use of the DTMF technology in the mobile phone, the owner can control these abnormalities from a remote place.

Abstract: This Paper Proposes a Survey study of fully distributed Ethernet over Star coupled PON (Passive Optical Network) Architecture. The architecture uses a collision free DBA scheme in which the Optical line Terminal (OLT) is excluded from the implementation of the time slot assignment. To have a distributed architecture, Optical Network Units (ONU‟s) must be in place without imposing any constraint on the PON Topology. In addition the reliability and performance improvement while using decentralized Ethernet based PON architecture with bandwidth allocation algorithms are discussed.

Abstract: Over the past few years we can see there is an occurrence of floods at different parts of the world almost every year. The technical advancements in recent years have made it easier to get a solution for these natural disasters. One of such technologies which takes us much closer to the internet is the “Internet of Things”. This paper consists of flood detection and avoidance system using the iot technology. The sensors present in this are used to estimate the water levels, humidity, and temperature and send the real-time data to the cloud and the users can access the data via the mobile app. This model is widely used to alarm the people before a flood occurs and necessary precautions could be taken.
