TL;DR: In this article, the first isomeric state in {sub 16}{sup 43}S{sub 27}[E{sub x}=320.5(5) keV, T{sub 1/2}=415(5] ns, and g=0.317(4)].
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of the surrogate-reaction method applied to neutron-induced capture cross sections
G. Boutoux,Beatriz Jurado,V. Méot,O. Roig,L. Mathieu,M. Aïche,G. Barreau,N. Capellan,I. Companis,S. Czajkowski,K.-H. Schmidt,J.T. Burke,A. Bail,J. M. Daugas,T. Faul,P. Morel,N. Pillet,C. Theroine,X. Derkx,Olivier Serot,I Matea,L. Tassan-Got +21 more
TL;DR: Gamma-decay probabilities of 173Yb and 176Lu have been measured with two independent experimental methods based on the use of C6D6 scintillators and Germanium detectors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous Determination of Neutron-Induced Fission and Radiative Capture Cross Sections from Decay Probabilities Obtained with a Surrogate Reaction.
R. Pérez Sánchez,B. Jurado,V. Méot,O. Roig,M. Dupuis,O. Bouland,D. Denis-Petit,Paola Marini,L. Mathieu,I. Tsekhanovich,M. Aiche,L. Audouin,C. Cannes,S. Czajkowski,S. Delpech,Andreas Görgen,Magne Guttormsen,A. Henriques,Grégoire Kessedjian,Katsuhisa Nishio,D. Ramos,Sunniva Siem,Fabio Zeiser +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied the surrogate-reaction method to infer for the first time both the neutron-induced fission and radiative capture cross sections of ^{239}Pu in a consistent manner from a single measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI
The extrapolated-efficiency method, a new technique to determine the γ-cascade detection efficiency in experiments based on the surrogate-reaction method
G. Boutoux,Beatriz Jurado,L. Mathieu,V. Méot,M. Aïche,G. Barreau,A. Blanc,I. Companis,O. Roig,C. Theroine +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the gamma-cascade detection efficiency in the vicinity of the neutron-separation energy was determined using the pulse-height weighting technique (PHWT), which is much simpler than the PHWT.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutron efficiency of LaBr 3 :Ce detector
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the neutron detection efficiency in a LaBr3 detector in the energy range 0.1 -2 MeV was reported. But the measurement was carried out using a 4MV Van-de-Graaff accelerator which provided monoenergetic neutrons from T(p,n)3He and 7Li(p-n)7Be reactions.
