The Human Tumor Atlas Network: Charting Tumor Transitions Across Space and Time at Single-Cell Resolution

Orit Rozenblatt-Rosen, +373 more
- 16 Apr 2020 -
TL;DR: The Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN), part of the NCI Cancer Moonshot Initiative, will establish a clinical, experimental, computational, and organizational framework to generate informative and accessible three-dimensional atlases of cancer transitions for a diverse set of tumor types.

Heterogeneity of Inflammation-associated Synovial Fibroblasts in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Its Drivers

TL;DR: Heterogeneity of synovial fibroblasts in inflamed joints of rheumatoid arthritis patients is explored using paired single cell RNA and ATAC sequencing, multiplexed imaging, and spatial transcriptomics along with in vitro modeling of cell extrinsic factor signaling to highlight a role for concurrent, spatially distributed cytokine signaling within the inflamed synovium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Epigenetic plasticity cooperates with cell-cell interactions to direct pancreatic tumorigenesis

TL;DR: Burdziak et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the origins and impact of epigenetic plasticity during early neoplasia in the development of pancreatic cancer using single-cell analyses on normal, inflamed, premalignant, and malignant tissues in autochthonous models.
