TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyze the social imaginary that underlie the scientific practice of the investigators of the board of Investigations of the UNR (CIUNR), organization that coordinates, promotes and it advises in the aspects referred to the scientific investigation in the National University of Rosario.
Palabras Clave Imaginarios Sociales - Ciencia Abstract SOCIAL IMAGINARIES OF THE SCIENCE The difference between the ordinary and daily knowledge and the knowledge that is qualified as scientific is obviously undeniable. However, the rigorous approach of territorial demarcation between science and non science at the light of contemporary epistemologies positions becomes a dogmatic and sterile exclusion. The science and what is considered scientific are defined in the sine of their history of errors and research of knowledge that facilitate the conceptual production and the differentiation of other social pratices. Some scientific investigations are plugged to the task of reaching to any price, the merit of being recognized under the worthy statute of science and the qualified authority of reliable and true. This work constitutes an advance of an Investigation Project titled “The Social Imaginary of the Science. The UNR board of Investigations case” and it is part of a Program on “Social Imaginary and power relationships in the National University of Rosario.” From an interpretative perspective we try to analyze the social imaginary that underlie the scientific practice of the investigators of the board of Investigations of the UNR (CIUNR), organization that coordinates, promotes and it advises in the aspects referred to the scientific investigation in the National University of Rosario. TL;DR: Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) should consider the amalgam of values, organizational and legal arrangements, economic blocs, languages, and peoples of Latin America as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) should consider the amalgam of values, organizational and legal arrangements, economic blocs, languages, and peoples of Latin America. In addition, it is necessary to seek the development and validation of universal frames of reference that make generalization possible in Latin America and in other regions. How far away from that is WOP in Latin America? How does it resemble those psychologies that originated in the United States and Europe in terms of historical, social, political, and economic reasons? To answer the above questions is the aim of the chapter, based on the information collected from more than 110 texts found in 14 Latin American countries. The information is organized in terms of history, application, and professional training and the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge in WOP. At the end, the challenges for research, teaching, and practice are presented.
