Abstract: Objective: reflecting on relations of power as the cause of intraprofessional conflicts among doctors and nurses inside a hospital, regarding Michel Foucault as theoretical reference. Method: reflective theoretical study, anchored in the following items: 1) Michel Foucault, addressing power, knowledge and domain need; 2) intraprofessional relations, with emphasis on power and competence in medicine and nursing; 3) power relations in a hospital and the health system user as the focus. Result: power and knowledge dynamics and the search for hierarchy by medical and nursing professionals in the hospital within their respective field of study might have negative repercussions on the outcome of health care. Conclusion: The understanding of power relations according to Michel Foucault, who devoted much to the study of the hospital as an institution, might reveal intraprofessional conflicts, impacting on the quality of medical and nursing care to the client of a hospital.

Abstract: Objective: reflect the experiences of relatives of women with operated breast cancer, in relation to the psychological impact of the family's disease on their daily lives, through integrative review. Method: integrative review of the experiences of family members of women with breast cancer already operated, emphasizing the Phenomenology of Perception . Results: family members of women with breast cancer survive stress situations related to the diagnosis of breast cancer in a loved one and the fear of acquiring the disease, due to associated genetic factors, as well as living with a family member are imposed as relevant issues. The woman perceives the size impact of cancer on the lives of family members, which affects the experience of pathology and mutilated body, overseeing guilt and worsening of the psychological suffering in relation to the disease. For Merleau-Ponty, every consciousness is perceptive and the perceived world is the presumed basis of all rationality and existence. Conclusion: the death of women with breast cancer may provide anticipatory mourning in family members, bringing greater anguish to women in coping with surgical pathology. Understanding the experience of women with breast cancer and mutilated in relation to the suffering of family members as loved ones would help nurses to unveil the phenomenon that translates into anxiety in the experience of female breast cancer.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe the mediations of the preceptor in the field of human health internship and acting as a transforming agent in the exercise of teaching. This is an integrative review of articles from the LILACS, BDENF and MEDLINE databases and the virtual library SciELO, published between 2011 and 2019. For Merleau-Ponty, every possible experience and access to the world occurs through the body. For man, physical strength and sexuality are striking attributes of his body. Theoretical disciplines reaffirm this view, but do not relate it to male specificities and practice issues. The .preceptor nurse brings to his relationship with the undergraduate student the ability to listen, speak and observe, teaching him to care respecting male conceptions. It is concluded that teacher preceptors should lead undergraduates to actions based on this practice.

Abstract: The study aims to identify in the literature the care provided by different health teams that work in the airport environment under a phenomenological approach. Qualitative methodological approach and integrative literature review. The databases: BDENF, CINAHL, IBECS, LILACS, MEDLINE, SCOPUS and PubMed were searched. The research question was elaborated with the aid of the PICo strategy (Population: Health team; Intervention: care; Context: Airports). The search was carried out between April and May 2019. The review included national and international articles, with abstracts and full texts, in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in a time frame between the years 2014 to 2019. Twelve studies were included that revealed the care provided to patients at the airport by the health team and pre-trip preventive measures. The care provided to patients at the airport by the health team aims at preventive pre-trip measures and emergency care with safety. They refer to the perception of the professional, with their experiences and care that is above all humanized and ethical, aiming not only at taking care of technical acts but at maintaining life.

Abstract: O artigo pretende iluminar a significativa pesquisa de Foucault sobre o poder no fim dos anos setenta. A interacao entre diversos eventos historicos, disciplinas e subjetividade fornece a dimensao da incipiente nocao de biopoder em sua obra. Com o fito de compreender o objetivo maior de Foucault nesses anos (o presente), ele tambem faz uso da diferenca estabelecida entre duas concepcoes de poder: o medieval poder de matar e seu contraste com a moderno poder de fazer viver. Tal disparidade coloca em xeque a constituicao de nossa subjetividade, permitindo um paralelo a ser desenhado com a questao da soberania, de acordo com a tradicional concepcao de poder, e o problema da seguranca dos individuos proposta pela inovadora concepcao de Foucault. Quando proposicoes nao sao coincidentes, uma janela de imaginario se abre ao nosso pensamento e, por ultimo, a unica coisa que nos resta e pensar de novo.

Abstract: An ethnographic study explored ideas about the possibility of creating social support networks for breast cancer within the Portuguese-speaking community in Toronto (Canada). Nineteen men and women from Angolan, Brazilian and Portuguese communities informed about a social support network with a focus on enabling versus challenging conditions for its construction. The fundamental components in creating social support networks were: the demystification of breast cancer and its prevention, emphasis on health education, mobilizing volunteers and direct social support to women living with breast cancer. The potential enabling factors were the participation of older women as social leaders, and the utilization of schools and religious institutions. Perceived barriers were: breast cancer believed to be women’s disease, lack of knowledge about its cure/ rehabilitation, as well as a limited sensitivity to cancer. Social support networks should consider the communities’ diverse cultural and tangible needs, as well as more informal social support services.

Abstract: O presente trabalho visa apresentar como a questao do poder e tratada por Michel Foucault a partir de seu livro Vigiar e Punir e, que segundo seus criticos referem-se as suas segunda e terceira fases, resumidas a seguir. Seu proprio nome, enquanto intelectual e associado a analise da transgressao e sua teoria e permeada pela nocao de crise como resultante da hostilidade radical que demonstrou em relacao a ordem existente atraves de seus trabalhos, deixando-nos, ao falecer, em 1984, o peso de seu relativismo pessimista.
