An Analysis of Rabies Incidence and Its Geographic Spread in the Buffer Area Among Orally Vaccinated Wildlife in Ukraine From 2012 to 2016.

TL;DR: Parenteral vaccination of domestic animals and ORV campaigns in foxes have proved unsuccessful in providing a sustainable, long-term reduction in endemic rabies outbreaks and their causes must be identified in order to provide maximum rabies vaccine coverage for dogs and cats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Retrospective study of rabies epidemiology in Ukraine (1950-2019)

TL;DR: This paper presents a meta-analysis of a large number of cases of central giant coronavirus found in Ukraine in the period of May 21 to 29, 2013, which confirmed the presence of the virus in the semen of a Crimean Tournaisian woman.
Journal ArticleDOI

Epizootological and epidemiological aspects for rabies in Ukraine for the period from 1999 to 2018

TL;DR: The proportion of animals covered by vaccines was insufficient to control and eradicate the disease in the wild, and the epizootic rabies situation among dogs and cats requires more active legislative intervention regarding the full coverage of these animals by vaccination.
