The digitalization of the automobile industry must depend on the information technology industry. The coupling development of the two creates conditions for the realization of industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing. The purpose of this paper is to make an empirical study on the possibility of coupling and the coupling degree, correlation degree, and innovation ability of China’s automobile industry and information technology industry. This paper takes the intelligent manufacturing of the automobile industry as the research object. According to the current situation of China’s automobile industry, this paper uses data to analyze and predict the development level of China’s automobile industry and the gap with the foreign automobile industry. Firstly, it summarizes and analyzes the development of China’s automobile industry and information technology industry. Then, the gray correlation analysis method is used to explore the factors affecting the innovation of China’s automobile industry. It is found that the relationship between capital investment and innovation is the most significant in “industrial innovation investment.” Finally, the coupling development model of the automobile industry and information technology industry is established, and the coupling degree of the two is analyzed by using the analytic hierarchy process and the Delphi method. The research of this paper mainly focuses on the automobile industry. Under the wave of internet, other industries such as the commerce and service industry also have a strong coupling relationship with the information technology industry, which will provide a new research direction for the follow-up research of experts and scholars.

Bicycle industry has recorded significant boom recently, mainly as a consequence of global pandemic situation, but also as a result of green policies of countries. The popularity of cycling is on its all-time high, which also transferred to rising sales of bicycles worldwide. This paper evaluates current situation of bicycle industry in Slovak republic, mainly with the objection on performance of Slovak bicycle producers. With use of appropriate indicators, the paper aims to assess the rate of competitiveness among Slovak bicycle producers. For this purpose, relevant indicators as market share, concentration ratio CR3 , CR5, and Herfindahl index are calculated and evaluated. The aim of this paper is to analyze financial results of Slovak bicycle industry producers, then measure the degree of concentration of whole industry in order to explain industry competitiveness in context of Slovak economy.

Research background: Research in this paper is based on analysis of data and documents published by official institutions and relevant studies and papers.Purpose of the article: This paper assesses how the pandemic situation influenced automotive sector in countries of Europe. It evaluates differences between European countries, in terms of automotive industry operation after COVID-19 crisis. It also outlines global trends and challenges for future industry development.Methods: In the research, we use mainly general methods, especially analysis, synthesis and comparison. Among the specific methods, we use statistical methods to obtain, process, explain and interpret data.Findings & Value added: In the findings we present the impact of COVID-19 on automotive industry in European countries. In the end, we present thoughts on globalization challenges for automotive industry, and possible ways for its future development.

This paper evaluates the concentration of Slovak automotive industry, and its potential impacts on competitiveness and innovation activities of businesses operating within the industry. It analyses the concentration of automotive industry by using relevant metrics as market share, concentration ratio CR3 , CR5 , CR10 and Herfindahl index. The aim of this paper is to analyze financial results of Slovak automotive businesses, then measure the degree of concentration of whole industry in order to explain industry competitiveness in context of Slovak economy. Finally, the paper should inspire a reader in order to make him consider, what is the impact of strongest automotive companies on whole business environment in Slovak Republic.

Evaluation of Slovak Automotive Industry Competitiveness Based On Market Concentration Indicators

The aim of the paper is to analyze and evaluate the current trends in the cycling industry and the current dynamics of the industry as a whole. The intention is also to specify the key factors influencing developments in the cycling industry and to assess possible future opportunities and risks. For the purpose of fulfilling the research aim, mainly data and materials of global economic institutions or consulting companies were used. Worldwide green incentives, popularity of environmentally friendly transportation modes or increased demand for bicycles were the main driving factors that helped the industry to grow in the economies on all continents. Moreover, based on current political, economical or environmental situation, we expect further expansion of the cycling industry, as the full potential of the bicycle transportation has yet to be reached.
