TL;DR: This paper proposes a quality management model based on cloud computing, mobile devices, and the Autodesk BIM 360 Field software that is applied to a real project in Vietnam to verify the benefits and barriers of using this software for a construction project.
Abstract: A quality management process plays a vital role in the success of engineering and construction projects. The management process needs to be effective and efficient if projects are to be completed on time and within the project’s budget. Many construction projects’ quality management processes are paper-based, which makes them time-consuming and inefficient. The next generation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the BIM-cloud. The BIM-cloud can help to enhance the effectiveness of a quality management process; it can also save an organization time and money. This paper proposes a quality management model based on cloud computing, mobile devices, and the Autodesk BIM 360 Field software. This software functions as a platform for gathering, managing and controlling the quality of the management data. The process is then applied to a real project in Vietnam to verify the benefits and barriers of using the BIM 360 Field for a construction project.

TL;DR: Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process based on Geometric Mean Methodology is applied to evaluate factors for measuring the social capital of graduates at Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Vietnam to highlight the important role of social networks for graduates.
Abstract: Vietnam is striving to develop dynamically and overcome many human resource challenges. As the economy expands, the demand for jobs and human resource development has become increasingly critical. The pressures from reform and international integration are forcing many changes. New graduates must provide proof of their academic capabilities, while also actively developing their social capital to support their job search process. In fact, social capital is an essential capital for personal development as well as professional development of new graduates. This paper applies Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process based on Geometric Mean Methodology to evaluate factors for measuring the social capital of graduates at Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Vietnam. The research results highlight the important role of social networks for graduates, in which a linking network is the most important, a bonding network is the second most important, and a bridging network is the third most important. In addition, the research shows that trust plays an even more important role than networks; and specific belief is more important than general belief.

TL;DR: The Chang's Extent Analysis Method under fuzzy logic was applied to rank the components of e-learning success model in Vietnam by defining the key barriers to its development by revealing the important order of infrastructure and technology, human resources, setting, evaluation, management and execution, support and pedagogical aspect.
Abstract: E-learning success model is a crucial topic, especially in the context of the Fourth Industry with artificial intelligence and virtual reality in developing countries. In practice, it is a combination of technology and education; human and system form an integrated digital learning world. E-learning has many outstanding advantages in providing flexible training and equal education to everyone, which has dramatically changed the self-study process due to the ability to customize and effectively meet the learners' demands. However, e-learning is still inferior to traditional learning and teaching in recent years. This paper explores the key barriers to e-learning success based on multi-stakeholder perspectives. The Chang's Extent Analysis Method under fuzzy logic was applied to rank the components of e-learning success model in Vietnam by defining the key barriers to its development. The incorporation of fuzzy set theory in the Analytical Hierarchical Process is superior in representing human judgments. Seven criteria were selected after justifying the experts' opinions in the in-depth interviews. The findings revealed the important order of infrastructure and technology, human resources, setting, evaluation, management and execution, support and pedagogical aspect. The results are significant for the proper action plan to promote e-learning development under the resource constraint.

TL;DR: A multi-criteria decision analysis solution for engineering project manager assessment is introduced by integrating Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) technique.
Abstract: Article history: Received 31 December 2016 Received in revised form 6 March 2017 Accepted 7 March 2017 Engineering project manager plays dynamic roles in managing projects. Therefore, selecting a qualified candidate to project manager position should be considered carefully. Moreover, it plays a significant role in the success of any engineering firms. Traditional project managers evaluating decisionmaking methods are usually based on subjective opinions of experts, resulting in irrational and inappropriate decisions. This paper introduces a multi-criteria decision analysis solution for engineering project manager assessment by integrating Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) technique. This approach is found to be useful when dealing with plenty of evaluation criteria and project manager candidates.
