Journal ArticleDOI
One-pot synthesis of 2-substituted benzo[b]furans via Pd–tetraphosphine catalyzed coupling of 2-halophenols with alkynes
TL;DR: A catalyst composed of [Pd(η(3)-C3H5)Cl]2 and N,N,N',N'-tetra(diphenylphosphinomethyl)pyridine-2,6-diamine (L) was found to be effective for one-pot synthesis of 2-substituted benzo[b]furans from 2-halophenols and alkynes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Palladium nanoparticles generated from allylpalladium chloride in situ: A simple and highly efficient catalytic system for Mizoroki–Heck reactions
TL;DR: In this article, the Mizoroki-Heck reactions of aryl halides catalyzed by palladium nanoparticles generated in situ from a simple allyl palladium precursor were investigated in argon.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Approach to the Synthesis of 1-Propenylnaphthols and 3-Arylnaphtho[2,1-b]furans.
TL;DR: Mechanistic studies confirm that 1-propenylnaphthols are the key intermediates to form the 3-arylnaphtho[2,1-b]furans and these two operationally simple and practical protocols could be scaled up to a gram level.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Simple and Efficient Access to Naphtho[b]furans by Claisen Rearrangement/Cyclization of Bromonaphthyl 3‐Phenylallyl Ethers
Journal ArticleDOI
An Efficient Palladium‐Catalyzed Synthesis of Cinnamyl Ethers from Aromatic Halides, Phenols, and Allylic Chloride
TL;DR: The use of iodonaphtalene (IX) as arylating agent affords the corresponding enol ether (X) instead of allyl aryls ethers.
