Is Rasch model analysis applicable in small sample size pilot studies for assessing item characteristics? An example using PROMIS pain behavior item bank data

TL;DR: Rasch analysis based on small samples identified a greater number of items with incorrectly ordered parameters than larger samples than large samples (≥100), however, fewer items were identified as misfitting.

Content validity and test-retest reliability of patient perception of intensity of urgency scale (PPIUS) for overactive bladder

TL;DR: The results demonstrate content validity based on qualitative interviews, and excellent test-retest reliability among stable patients, and support the use of the PPIUS as a reliable measure of urgency in both clinical trial and real life settings.
