Journal ArticleDOI

Monitoring noise susceptibility: sensitivity of otoacoustic emissions and subjective audiometry.

TL;DR: Results suggest that TEOAE provides a more sensitive and more objective method of detecting a subtle noise-induced disturbance of cochlear function than do PTA or DPOAE.
Journal ArticleDOI

Replicative senescence is associated with nuclear reorganization and with DNA methylation at specific transcription factor binding sites

TL;DR: Senescence-associated DNA hypermethylation occurs at specific sites in the genome and reflects functional changes in the course of replicative senescence, indicating that tightly regulated epigenetic modifications during long-term culture contribute to changes in nuclear organization and gene expression.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Class of Stochastic Algorithms for the Wigner Equation

TL;DR: A class of stochastic algorithms for the numerical treatment of the Wigner equation is introduced, derived using the theory of pure jump processes with a general state space.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for second-generation scalar leptoquarks in p(p)over-bar collisions at root s=1.96 TeV

A. Abulencia, +664 more
- 08 Mar 2006 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for pair production of second generation scalar leptoquark in p{bar p} collisions at {radical}s=1.96 TeV is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

(Pressure, density, temperature) measurements in the critical region of methane

TL;DR: In this article, the saturation densities and the isothermal compressibilities near to the phase boundary were determined in the homogeneous part of the critical region of methane in the density range from 60 to 260 kg·m−3 with about 30 values on each of the isotherms.
