Journal ArticleDOI
Utility of the blood urea nitrogen to serum albumin ratio as a prognostic factor of mortality in aspiration pneumonia patients.
Seung Ryu,Se Kwang Oh,Sung Uk Cho,Yeonho You,Jung Soo Park,Jin Hong Min,Wonjoon Jeong,Yong Chul Cho,Hong Joon Ahn,Changshin Kang +9 more
TL;DR: The B/A ratio is a simple and potentially useful prognostic factor of mortality in aspiration pneumonia patients and was associated with mortality within 28 days of the ED visit.
Journal ArticleDOI
Relationship between time related serum albumin concentration, optic nerve sheath diameter, cerebrospinal fluid pressure, and neurological prognosis in cardiac arrest survivors
Yeonho You,Jung Soo Park,Jin Hong Min,Insool Yoo,Wonjoon Jeong,Yongchul Cho,Seung Ryu,Jin Woong Lee,Seung Whan Kim,Sunguk Cho,Se-Kwang Oh,Junwan Lee,Hongjoon Ahn,Byung Kook Lee,Dong Hun Lee,Ki Ryang Na,Yong-Nam In,Chihwan Kwack,Jaein Lee +18 more
TL;DR: A higher ICP was strongly associated with and seemed predictive of poor outcome and the MSAC24/ONSD combination may be a useful predictor of high ICP and poor neurological outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study on the timing of severe blood-brain barrier disruption using cerebrospinal fluid-serum albumin quotient in post cardiac arrest patients treated with targeted temperature management
Jung Soo Park,Yeonho You,Jin Hong Min,Insool Yoo,Wonjoon Jeong,Yongchul Cho,Seung Ryu,Jin Woong Lee,Seung Whan Kim,Sung Uk Cho,Se Kwang Oh,Hong Joon Ahn,Junwan Lee,In Ho Lee +13 more
TL;DR: Severe BBB disruption indicated by Qa ≥ 0.02 in poor outcome group treated with TTM occurred within the first 24 h after ROSC, and Qa was significantly higher in the poor outcomes group at 24’h, 48 H, and 72 h.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of glyphosate and its metabolite in emergency room in Korea.
TL;DR: Blood samples acquired from five glyphosate intoxicated patients were analyzed and the comparison between the concentration of glyphosate and administered dosage did not show the correlation, which suggests further investigation on the effects of surfactants in glyphosate from different vendors.
Journal ArticleDOI
The usefulness of neuron-specific enolase in cerebrospinal fluid to predict neurological prognosis in cardiac arrest survivors who underwent target temperature management: A prospective observational study.
Yeonho You,Jung Soo Park,Jin Hong Min,Insool Yoo,Hong Joon Ahn,Yongchul Cho,Seung Ryu,Jin Woong Lee,Seung Whan Kim,Sunguk Cho,Se-Kwang Oh,Wonjoon Jeong,Changshin Kang,Eungseok Oh,In Ho Lee,Byung Kook Lee,Dong Hun Lee,Chun Song Youn +17 more
TL;DR: CSF NSE values were highly predictive and sensitive markers of 6-month poor neurological outcome in out-of-cardiac arrest (OHCA) survivors treated with TTM at Day 1 after ROSC, and can be a useful early prognosticator in OHCA survivors.
