On the synthesis of piecewise affine control laws

TL;DR: This paper provides a compact exposition of the existing state-of-the-art methods for the synthesis of PWA control laws using optimization-based methods.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

γ-invasive event-triggered and self-triggered control for perturbed linear systems

TL;DR: It is demonstrated in an example that the proposed event- and self-triggered controllers achieve a considerable reduction in the communication rate even without increasing the guaranteed worst-case error bounds.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Frequency-domain analysis of real-time and networked control systems with stochastic delays and data drops

TL;DR: A novel frequency-domain analysis framework is presented for a closed-loop model capturing a wide range of real-time and networked control systems with stochastic delays and packet drops, and the results allow for inferring the mean and variance of the output response to deterministic inputs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Offset-free MPC for resource sharing on a nonlinear SCARA robot⁎

TL;DR: A real-time MPC algorithm is developed for optimization of both the input and the switching signals and uses a novel offset-free formulation in velocity form for LTV prediction models to realize good tracking performance under the resource sharing constraints.
