Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular imaging with activatable reporter systems.

TL;DR: This work focuses on activatable reporters, in which the signal can be activated at the posttranslational level for visualizing protein-protein interactions, protein phosphorylation or tertiary structure changes, and concludes that activatable reporter imaging can benefit both basic biomedical research and drug development.
Journal ArticleDOI

(99m)Technetium-HYNIC(tricine/TPPTS)-Aca-Bombesin(7-14) as a Targeted Imaging Agent with MicroSPECT in a PC-3 Prostate Cancer Xenograft Model

TL;DR: Tc-HABN is a novel BN-based radiopharmaceutical that proved to be suitable for targeted imaging of prostate cancer with microSPECT using the human prostate cancer cell line PC-3 in a xenograft mouse model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactive Oxygen Species Scavenging Nanomedicine for the Treatment of Ischemic Heart Disease

TL;DR: The roles of ROS in both IHD and its risk factors are discussed, highlighting cardiovascular medications that have antioxidant properties and summarizing the advantages, properties, and recent achievements of nanomedicines that have ROS scavenging capacity for the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, ischemia/reperfusion, and myocardial infarction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multimodal Photoacoustic Imaging-Guided Regression of Corneal Neovascularization: A Non-Invasive and Safe Strategy.

TL;DR: Anti‐CNV treatment‐driven changes in the blood vessels are assessed by real‐time multimodal PAI in vivo, and then a safe laser irradiation strategy through the canthus is developed for phototherapy and gene therapy synergistic treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel 19F activatable probe for the detection of matrix metalloprotease-2 activity by MRI/MRS.

TL;DR: The design and synthesis of a set of fluorine-19 dendron-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) probes for real-time imaging of MMP-2 activity are reported, which show that the fluorine signal increased by 8.5-fold in the presence of M MP-2 and can be applied to evaluate other enzyme activities by simply tuning the substrate structures.
