Facile synthesis of pentacle gold–copper alloy nanocrystals and their plasmonic and catalytic properties
Rong He,Youcheng Wang,Xiaoyong Wang,Zhantong Wang,Gang Liu,Wei Zhou,Longping Wen,Qunxiang Li,Xiaoping Wang,Xiaoyuan Chen,Jie Zeng,Jianguo Hou +11 more
TL;DR: Under irradiation by an 808-nm laser, 70-nm pentacle nanocrystals exhibit a notable photothermal effect to kill 4T1 murine breast tumours established on BALB/c mice and show better catalytic activity than conventional citrate-coated 5-nm Au nanoparticles towards the reduction of p-nitrophenol to p-aminophenol by sodium borohydride.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cancer-Associated, Stimuli-Driven, Turn on Theranostics for Multimodality Imaging and Therapy.
TL;DR: The fundamental backgrounds of diagnostic and therapeutic tools that have been widely utilized for developing theranostic agents are provided and the current approaches for developing stimuli‐responsive turn on theranostics are discussed.

Quantitative PET Imaging of Tumor Integrin αvβ3 Expression with 18F-FRGD2
Xianzhong Zhang,Zhengming Xiong,Yun Wu,Weibo Cai,Jeffery R. Tseng,Sanjiv S. Gambhir,Xiaoyuan Chen +6 more
TL;DR: The ability to noninvasively visualize and quantify αvβ3 integrin expression level will provide new opportunities to document tumor (tumor cells and sprouting tumor vasculature) receptor expression, more appropriately select patients considered for antiintegrin treatment, and monitor treatment efficacy in integrin-positive patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Peptides and Peptide Hormones for Molecular Imaging and Disease Diagnosis
Seulki Lee,Jin Xie,Xiaoyuan Chen +2 more
TL;DR: An overview of molecular imaging probes associated with peptides and peptide hormones designed for in vivo applications, including those for nuclear imaging, optical imaging, and MRI, is provided.
