Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten at least charging time for full charge of a secondary battery to which a battery module is connected in parallel. SOLUTION: In a method of charging a large secondary battery 1 to which a plurality of battery modules 11 comprising a number of cells 12 are connected in parallel by charging equipment 2, a plurality of pieces of charging equipment charge the large secondary battery, parallel connection between at least one battery module and other battery modules is disconnected to divide the large secondary battery into a plurality of sets, and then the battery module of each set is charged separately by different charging equipment. A charging current value of a set of battery modules of which deterioration is large is calculated from a capacity or a voltage value so that the charging time of all the sets coincides and the charging time of a set of battery modules of which deterioration is large coincides with a charging time of a set of battery modules of which deterioration is small. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device capable of manufacturing a support arm for supporting a guide pulley in an approximately co-using state and achieving the further reduction of manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The guide device is provided with the guide pulley 31 engaged with a chain 27; the support arm 33 for rotatably supporting the guide pulley 31 through a pulley shaft 32; a unit case 35 as a mounting base mounted with the support arm 33; and a support shaft 34 for pivotably and pivotally supporting the support arm 33 on the unit case 35. A position restriction part 40 for restricting a pivot position of the support arm 33 is formed on the unit case 35 and a claw 33c engageable with the position restriction part 40 by being bent is formed on the support arm 33. Thereby, by a simple structure for only bending the claw 33c of the support arm 33 or not, a function for giving tension is given or is not given, to be put to a proper use.
