Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristics of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons emissions of diesel engine fueled with biodiesel and diesel

TL;DR: In this article, an experimental study has been carried out on a direct-injection turbocharged diesel engine, where particle-phase and gas-phase PAHs in engine exhaust were collected by fiberglass filters and PUF/XAD-2/PUF cartridges, respectively, and determined by a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of PM emissions from a gasoline direct injected (GDI) vehicle and a port fuel injected (PFI) vehicle measured by electrical low pressure impactor (ELPI) with two fuels: Gasoline and M15 methanol gasoline

TL;DR: In this paper, two Euro 4 gasoline passenger vehicles (one gasoline direct injected vehicle and one port fuel injected vehicle) were tested over the cold start New European Driving Cycle (NEDC).
Journal ArticleDOI

Spray properties of alternative fuels: A comparative analysis of biodiesel and diesel

TL;DR: In this paper, an experiment was carried out to investigate the spray properties of biodiesel and the results indicated that the spray tip penetrations and cone angles increased with increasing injection duration.
Journal Article

[Investigation on emission characteristics of methanol vehicle's aldehyde and ketone pollutants].

TL;DR: Investigation on the character and quantity of aldehydes and ketones emitted from methanol vehicle was implemented respectively by using high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) method and whether with or without three-way catalyst (TWC) was carried out, the total quantity was less than that from gasoline vehicle without TWC.
