Journal ArticleDOI
Divergent Total Synthesis of Euphoranginol C, Euphoranginone D, ent‐Trachyloban‐3β‐ol, ent‐Trachyloban‐3‐one, Excoecarin E, and ent‐16α‐Hydroxy‐atisane‐3‐one
Ze-Jun Xu,Yan Zong,Yanan Qiao,Jiao-Zhen Zhang,Xu-Yuan Liu,Ming-Zhu Zhu,Yuliang Xu,Hongbo Zheng,Liyuan Fang,Xiao-Ning Wang,Hong-Xiang Lou +10 more
TL;DR: A divergent synthetic approach to biogenetically related diterpenoids such as ent -kauranes, ent -trachylobanes,Ent -beyerane, and ent -atisane has been developed and enables the asymmetric total syntheses of six diter penoids from the commercially available geraniol.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing the Interconversion of Labdane Lactones from the Chinese Liverwort Pallavicinia ambigua.
Yi Li,Ze-Jun Xu,Rongxiu Zhu,Jinchuan Zhou,Yan Zong,Jiao-Zhen Zhang,Ming-Zhu Zhu,Xue-Yang Jin,Yanan Qiao,Hongbo Zheng,Hong-Xiang Lou +10 more
TL;DR: The spontaneous, reversible intramolecular transesterification of natural labdane lactones was reported, and the tautomers were found to inhibit the virulence of the efflux pump-deficient Candida albicans DSY654.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enantioselective Total Syntheses of Manginoids A and C and Guignardones A and C
Yan Zong,Ze-Jun Xu,Rongxiu Zhu,Ai-Hong Su,Xu-Yuan Liu,Ming-Zhu Zhu,Jing-Jing Han,Jiao-Zhen Zhang,Yuliang Xu,Hong-Xiang Lou +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an enantioselective synthetic approach for preparing manginoids and guignardones, two types of biogenetically related meroterpenoids, is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Terpenoids from the Chinese liverwort Odontoschisma grosseverrucosum and their antifungal virulence activity.
Ming-Zhu Zhu,Yi Li,Jinchuan Zhou,Jinghui Lu,Rongxiu Zhu,Yanan Qiao,Jiao-Zhen Zhang,Yan Zong,Xue Wang,Xue-Yang Jin,Ming Zhang,Wenqiang Chang,Wang Chen,Hong-Xiang Lou +13 more
TL;DR: Investigation of odongrossin A revealed that it inhibited adhesion and biofilm formation on C. albicans DSY654 and the results regarding the transcription levels of genes demonstrated that odongcrossin A could regulate the expression of genes that are associated with the virulence of C.Albicans.
