MS-Celeb-1M: A Dataset and Benchmark for Large-Scale Face Recognition
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a benchmark task to recognize one million celebrities from their face images, by using all the possibly collected face images of this individual on the web as training data.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Large Scale Incremental Learning
TL;DR: This work found that the last fully connected layer has a strong bias towards the new classes, and this bias can be corrected by a linear model, and with two bias parameters, this method performs remarkably well on two large datasets.

MS-Celeb-1M: A Dataset and Benchmark for Large-Scale Face Recognition
TL;DR: A benchmark task to recognize one million celebrities from their face images, by using all the possibly collected face images of this individual on the web as training data, which could lead to one of the largest classification problems in computer vision.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incremental Classifier Learning with Generative Adversarial Networks.
TL;DR: This paper proposes a new loss function to combine the cross-entropy loss and distillation loss, a simple way to estimate and remove the unbalance between the old and new classes, and uses Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to generate historical data and select representative exemplars during generation that have much less privacy issues than real images because GANs do not directly copy any real image patches.
